Even though there was a major storm coming, it was still a very nice afternoon and early evening. We decided to take Davis to his cousin Jonathan's soccer game. Southside VS. Springdale. Southside won 2 to 0. It was a great game and Jonathan (red shoes) played very well and hard despite his sprained foot. Katy and her girls were wearing t's spelling their favorite players name... IMA. He must be cute but I couldn't tell from so far away. I did get a pic of Jonathan ... it's a pretty good zoom shot. Davis posed with Katy and Brenda and also his Nana. We had a good time and didn't get rained on surprisingly.

Ok I woke up in a panic this morning because I hadn't heard a peep out of Davis, I jump out of bed and run over to the bedside crib to make sure he was still breathing. I couldn't believe it. I actually woke up on my own this morning. We'll see how he does again tonight. Here he is in a wonderful mood when he woke up...

Sometimes you really look like him...

We went on our first walk around the neighborhood. I put Davis in his stroller without his carrier, he can hold his head up now and he really liked the new view. He ate his hand and talked the whole time we were walking. Here are some snapshots... I'm getting camera happy, I don't want Daddy to miss anything so here I am blogging about our whole day! We love you Daddy and miss you so much!! Check him out and the flowers in the front. In the last pic he's blowing spit bubbles and making the sound with his lips.

This morning Davis was playing under his gym so I snapped a pic of him under it. Thank you Courtney and Craig for the Einstein Gym, Davis loves it! Later in the afternoon we went outside to inspect the flowers and try to get more pics of Davis out there. He didn't cooperate. I think it was too bright and he didn't want to open his eyes for me. I put a picture of him crying, I tried to catch him pouting with his bottom lip stuck out ( He does that when he starts to cry) but he's so cute even when he's crying!

Then he had a nap with Papa. For some reason always likes to bury his face into armpits. He does it to me all the time. Here is a pic of him doing it to Papa.

Tuesday was such a beautiful day. Davis and I decided to go to the park for a walk and a little play time. Aunt Lisa and cousin AC went with us. Davis loves being outside. I was worried about his head getting sunburned so I put his hat on him, he doesn't mind wearing it. Here are some pics of us at the park.

Davis got a visit from AJ and Tootsie today. He was so funny. In such a great mood for them of course he was full and had to spit up all over them too. We showed off his bedroom and Davis played with his gym and swatted at the fish on his mobile, and stood up in his exersaucer for them ( I still have to prop him up in it) but he likes it. He's so aware now of everything around him. I think he likes his room. He loves talking to me on the changing table. He screamed and laughed and cooed for Tootsie and AJ. He also did his little noise like I make with my mouth... he's mocking me and it's so cute. He's starting to giggle and it's the best.. he did it in his sleep the other night and then also while talking to me on the changing table the other morning. Papa and Nana said he did it at their house too... it's the sweetest thing. He's showing off how smart he is! I love it! Here are some pictures of his bedroom.

Davis and I went out to check on the progress of the back yard flowers for daddy. I snapped this picture of him sitting up like a big boy in one of our chairs. Saturday I took him to papa and nanas while I worked on the yard and swimming pool. He's ready for it to warm up so we can spend more time out there together.

Davis has a bit of a runny nose and cough and sneezing, and so does Mommy. We didn't sleep good at all last night so we ended up sleeping all day. After getting us up and dressed we went to visit Nana and Papa before they went to the Casino and bowling. Davis and Nana always have great naps together and Papa can not get enough of those CHEEKS! March 1st we took our first airplane trip to Philadelphia to visit Daddy. We had a wonderful 10 days there and Daddy fell in love with his beautiful baby. This was his first time to see Davis. We had such an easy time on the airplanes, Davis slept the entire time once we got settled in on the plane. I think next time it will be easier to purchase a seat for him, My arms were killing me after holding him for 3 hours... and how are you supposed to buckle your seat belt on the plane when holding a baby? Wasn't easy. He did great on the trip back as well. We went thru some bad weather, but he didn't notice. Mommy got a little queasy. What happened to me I never got queasy before I had a baby?? We stayed the entire time at the base. Also got a visit from Dr. Becky from Buffalo! It was a wonderful time for us!

Davis went to bed at 10 pm and woke up at 6am! Wow! I was so excited I had to take a pic, he was all smiles but of course I wasn't able to catch one. And he didn't do that 2 days in a row. It was a one night deal. That morning we went to Fayetteville with Angie to visit our friends Sam and Mitzi. We had lunch with them and Angie at Red Robin and of course went to Target and Babies and Beyond. We can't wait for Angie to have her baby girl. At Babies and Beyond we got a Bumbo seat. Davis sat in Courtney's at her baby shower on Saturday and we had to go get one. He's such a big boy in it! Here are some pics from Wednesday....

We got a visit on Feb 16th from our Gramme who drove all the way down from Eureka Springs to visit. Thanks Gramme for taking us to lunch at Panera. Pics of Davis and his Gramme.

8weeks old 12lbs and 24inches. Dr. Beene said you were perfect and so handsome which we already know and you hear all the time from me and daddy. We are so lucky! Enjoy the pics of our little man.

Here we are at our first trip to Olive Garden (2/20/2006), Davis just had his first pictures taken before we had lunch with our Grandpa AJ. Also some pics from our visit I think the next week at Tootsie's house (2/27/06). He loves going out. So much to look at and so much noise it usually puts him right to sleep. This pic of him standing is when he woke up (yeah) at the end of our dinner. I have no idea why it came out so small compared to the others... He's trying to stand up all the time, and holding his head up very well. This was just before our trip to visit Daddy.

Our cousin Katy was holding Davis and talking to him when I caught this one on Film it was early February, Davis was 6 weeks old.

Davis was born at 1:41 am 12/25/05. He was 8lbs 8oz and 20.5 inches long. Here is a pic of Davis on his first night and first Christmas. We will be catching up on his first 3 months asap.
