Bubbles, Bikes and Back of the Truck...

Bubbles are one of our new favorites! Davis loves standing in the middle of them and watching them disappear! This is our first bike ride together, he looks kinda scared, but surprisingly he loved it and kept his helmet on the whole time! Davis learning to call the Hogs~ he loves playing in the back of Papa's truck...

Razorback Baseball

Davis had a great time at the ballgame! He doesn't like wearing a hat, but he wore plenty of sunscreen. He loves the 'Hog Pen' (open lawn chair seating area) and he successfully navigated the small hill by the 4th inning! The Hogs lost the game, but fun was had by all! We found Davis a cool spot in the concourse- and he made friends everywhere!

Little Rock Zoo!

This makes our second zoo trip this month! I think we have more fun looking at all the animals than Davis does... but we hope he's having as much fun as us! While we were in LR, we visited Aunt Holly and Aunt Jonnie. We had a great day!

Dinner with Davis

Dinner is ready, and Davis says a tearfully dramatic goodbye to Elmo With Mommy distracted by a well-aimed ball, Davis helps himself Extra-ketchuppy hands and face bring-out more of the food's ambiance "Bath-time right after dinner? I'm busy playing with the Car!" "Please leave a comment and request less bathroom photography!"

St. Patricks Day Playgroup!

SAM ~ DAVIS ~ THOMAS Friday morning Davis and I made a trip up to NWA to our first Playgroup! It was a fun time for me and after lunch, Davis finally warmed up and relaxed enough to let go of my hair or leg. He's not used to a lot of people and noise... and it was pretty loud with 8 children in there at one time. It was great to meet all the mommies and the cute kiddos! Thanks so much Kate for including us!

Springtime with Davis

We enjoyed nice warm weather while taking some fun pictures!  On the way to MDO, we stopped-by a small patch of springtime blooms at Fort Chaffee. It certainly adds a different type of memory than what we're used to at military installations- no more leaving for extended periods of time- we're a small family that's together now! Davis really likes being outdoors!  He had a few distractions, (cars and airplanes) but that only adds to the enjoyment- he is such a happy child- thanks to all of the love and support from family and friends! Davis' enjoyment of warmer weather might take a different turn once he gets big enough to start pushing the lawnmower -we'll be happy with the cheap labor! thanks to Gramme for the picnic basket!

March Madness

a new version of 'Where's Davis?' -with the big hat Davis in full March Madness mode- suspense during the NCAA tournament selection show, then practicing his jumpshot for the USC game- Go Hogs Go! Davis turns 7 years old! (he looks too grown-up in this photo!)

@ Oklahoma City Zoo!

My favorite part of the day was the sea lions! They were so cute and playful! Davis checking out the fish... Davis walking thru the zoo! It wore him out pretty good, this day was the only one where he slept thru the night! This was by far the best day we had on our trip! The weather was warm and we finished off the day at the Cheesecake Factory! MMMM!! That morning Davis got a cheerio stuck to his cheek... pretty cute!

Favorite things...

This was by far our favorite grocery shopping basket of all time! You can push it and he's sitting in front of me (see the bar behind him) so it looks like he's driving! He had a blast in it! I was so excited when we got to try it out! I think the people here on base thought maybe I was crazy.. but I'd never seen something so cool! Don't know if Davis had either! We love shopping at the commissary! This is Davis the morning we were leaving, he loves to get the TP and pull it off the roll and tear it all in to shreds! What fun!
