Not too far away from our house! It's a nice walking trail area in Alma, AR With such a long stretch of blazing hot weather, we had to search around to find the hiking sticks! The waterfall was fairly dry ...but, we had fun getting there! It's a beautiful area with interesting natural features McWater Falls! (a little added drama) Exploration Fun! Perfect weather! Not too buggy, either Trail Guide Davis! McWater Falls is a McFun adventure!

It's a big address for the only structure for miles around! Werner Ballpark is home of the Royals' AAA affiliate, Omaha Storm Chasers A cool truck with an awesome parking spot! DJ thought the merry-go-round was unfairly represented with girl-themed horses. We stayed dry during the rain delay, & watched the end of the Royals game! Nice, 65 degree weather in July! Welcome to Nebraska! Championship Royalty! It's Vortex! #STIRUPTHESTORM !!! We saw Bubba play the night before in Springdale- Now, he's listed in the Chaser's starting lineup. He may have followed (or passed) us on the way to Omaha! Several other Storm Chaser players have made the journey up from Springdale. It's Casey! #STIRUPTHESTORM !!! Werner Park is fun-filled with lots of kid's activities, and neat baseball stuff! Can't really call it "bad weather" : Drizzle & 65 ...

It's the thing to do in Omaha! It cooled-down during our visit. A lot. It was in the low 60's by the time we left. A real steam engine! The elephant habitat is huge! They move around so silently! The zoo was packed during our visit. It was the final week for the US Olympic Swim Team Qualifiers and the College World Series (the Royals' AAA team was also in town for a series of home games). It's a hungry baby goat! The mommy goat preferred to be petted & brushed inside its 'crib'.  The best way to see the zoo: Sky Safari! To be up high with the birds... (the Sky Safari does not cross-over the big cat area) The picnic area is in the middle of the Prairie Dog habitat! They are curious little critters! Next stop: the giant desert bio-dome! Real desert plant life that grows year-round in Omaha! Davis saw a real-life ocelot! (after many Minecraft encounters ...
