The Lego Movie Mermaid, a tricky one to find...

Exploring the Rock

We enjoyed a nice, guided bike tour while we were in LR: Things that we didn't notice while we were driving around. A slower pace on the bikes allowed us to check-out some cool stuff! And, we could always park and see things up close. It's the coolest backyard ever!

Razorback Baseball

It's the annual game in North Little Rock! A big crowd, ready for big fun! -at the Travelers' home ballpark! The ride to the ballpark on the River Rail trolley was a hit! Ribby made the trip from Fayetteville! It's Ace, the Travelers' new mascot ! The 7' 2" character seems primed for a season of antics & wins! Davis broke-out some new dance moves for the game vs the Delta Devils! The Travs start their season in a few weeks... We are ready for a warm-weather game! A big crowd, fresh corn dogs, & great plays by the Hogs! We've been to more than a few ballparks  -college, minor league, & major league parks. Dickey Stephens Ballpark has the best kid's area of all! Some light rain shortened his bounce-around experience, but it was still fun. After a quick trolley trip back over the river, we arrived back at our indoor campsite. Can't wait until our next ball game!

First Day of Spring

Let's take a photo with the pine tree! We were really worried about our little tree during the ice storm. So much freezing rain had the tree bent over. The top of the tree was frozen to the ground. I was going to take a photo, but it was just too sickening. It has recovered nicely.

DJ's Weird Sea Creature

After much deliberation, Davis has made his decision of WSC for the month: A dangerous & highly invasive predator,  it's the readily identifiable Lionfish .

The Date is Saved

Davis really enjoyed The Lego Movie . And, he was thrilled to hear about the sequel. Surprisingly, he wasn't too disappointed about  when the follow-up movie is scheduled to be in theaters. When the second Lego Movie begins showing in theaters,  Davis will be attending Middle School . The US will have a new President. I-540 construction will be nearing completion. Davis will have watched the first Lego Movie more than 100 times. In anticipation of the seemingly long-time-from-now event, we put together a memory-stash: Inside the envelope: Q&A's with Davis about his predictions on the sequel. The movie ticket stub from when we saw the original. A sometimes-hard-to-find Lego Movie Mini-Figure.

School Picture

(or field trip to Olive Garden?) Yes, table for three, please.  (A nice pose & great smile!)

Springing Closer

with our own patch of daffodils! and now, for your entertainment, some dance moves! gotta work it out! some nice spring-like weather can't be too far away!

Happy Pi Day!

Soon to be Sprung

Ready for the camera?

Davis has a certain level of experience having his picture taken. Here's hoping everything goes well.

End of the Road

found it. Literally. What's on the other side? He's not saying.

A Mob of Meerkats

is what to call a group of these personable critters. Davis knows a long list of animal congregation terminologies. Crossword puzzles or general trivia challenges, beware.
