Snow day...

Our first snow... even though Davis has seen snow before when we were in New Jersey... I'm sure he didn't remember it and it wasn't that much. Snow Days make us crazy! We wrestled on the floor a lot today. Davis loves it when you get down there on his level. He mauled me. Even bit my lip! It didn't break skin though I just thought he was going to give me a kiss! More attack on the camera woman! He's going to be a lefty! I told you honey! He's our little ticket to big money! I'm getting him started out right huh? He's getting pretty good at tossing the ball back to me! We are working on his fast ball and knuckle ball. This is him playing at Papa and Nana's while we were helping them with their "Davis' Birthday" lights! ha ha! No we haven't renamed the day officially! We will still call it Christmas, when he's not listening. Trooper dog still wants inside even though this is what she's supposed to live for...

11 months...

Davis is 11 months old! Playing with Linda... Looking sleepy in the car... This picture cracks me up because it looks like he's about to slap Ava, but he's not I promise!Saturday night we went to Ava's 3rd Birthday party. Sunday Morning Milk Face Mexican Food Thanksgiving at Papa and Nana's Katy and Blakely... we haven't seen him in a while, he's 2 months old now and doing great! After dinner Jonathan and Katy came over to help me get the Christmas decorations out of the attic... They played with Davis for a while too... He kept them busy by making them walk him all around the house.. thru the kitchen around thru the living room and back thru the hallway.. making a big lap. It really gets tiring, so i'm thankful they were here tonight to help me out. It's hard on the back.. plus he likes to throw a fit if you don't do it with him. He really just grabs your fingers and hold on tight, you literally have to pry them out of his hands. Also, I sa...

Thanksgiving Day...

We had Grandpa AJ and Great Grandma Tootsie over for lunch today. I had prepared a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner for us all. Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans and Rolls. I thought it turned out pretty good. I had no complaints from our company either! I'm so glad I was able to do this. We had a wonderful lunch and good time spent with our Family! Davis had a blast impressing Tootsie and AJ with all his tricks... as you can see he was showing out a little bit. This evening we went to Grandma Babes for dinner and had a great time with everyone there! We have one more get together this weekend and it's on Sunday with Nana's side of the family! I'm sure I'll have some pics to post from it... but all I can think about now is... GO HOGS!!!! BEAT LSU!!!!!!

Thanksgiving morning...

Davis playing peekaboo with Marley! Getting down to hide... Then BOO! Since it is Thanksgiving... just want to say that I am very Thankful that I have such a beautiful healthy family. I love my guys so much! Less than a month to go until Daddy is home with us for a visit! We are more than ready!

The Rooster...

Before Bath... After Bath... I promise I had nothing to do with this hair today... I admit I didn't brush it, just dried it with the towel after his bath, and this happened. It stayed like this the rest of the day! Davis is having a sucker with his Nana in the pic.

Saturday...

Tonight at Goodson's trying to get out of Papa's lap! This morning rolling around in the floor... One of his favorite things to do is knock everything off the chest in the living room... Sitting on the dog food lookin cool in his shades!

Gramme's Visit...

Gramme came to visit us on Thursday, spent the night and left this morning. She had a great time playing with Davis and especially rocking him and putting him to sleep last night. She said he did great. I was at Roller Derby practice! I had a great practice, best one yet.. and I can feel that I am getting better and it feels great! Here's a shot of Gramme and Davis playing in the floor yesterday afternoon. I was catching up on some house work that had been neglected. Thanks again Gramme for coming down!

Lonestar at UAFS...

Davis having a blast at the concert on the lawn of the UAFS Campus! Laughing so hard you can see his 2 top teeth! Passed out, it was way past his bedtime... A pic of the band... We were joined by Brenda & Katy! And Papa and Nana! This was the last song and the one that means the most to me... I'm not a huge Lonestar fan but it was a free concert and we had a great time. She said I really miss you darling, Dont worry about the kids theyll be alright. Wish I was in your arms, Lying right there beside you. But I know that Ill be in your dreams tonight. And Ill gently kiss your lips, Touch you with my fingertips. So turn out the light and close your eyes. Im already there. Dont make a sound. Im the beat in your heart. Im the moonlight shining down. Im the whisper in the wind. And Ill be there until the end. Can you feel the love that we share. Oh Im already there. We may be a thousand miles apart, But Ill be with you wherever you are, I'm Already There...

Chocolate Gravy...

Davis had his first Chocolate Gravy on Sunday, thanks to his Nana. I don't know how to make it, but I think it will be one of Davis' favorites, just like it is mine. YUMMY!

Veterans Day...

Davis finally holding his own bottle... the whole time! Too bad we only have one more month of it before we take it away! Saturday was Veteran's Day and Davis and I spent the afternoon downtown... We went to the Holiday Market for some Christmas Shopping and then stopped by the National Cemetery to visit my Papa Phillips' grave and a good friend from High School Kevin Covey. It was a beautiful day and I loved seeing the National Cemetery decorated in all the flags. It's always nice to go there and reflect on the good times had pay our respects to the thousands of Soldiers that served for our country. I must say... I'm very proud to be the wife of a Soldier. Just 4 weeks or so until he comes home for R & R! YEAH!! We can't wait!!!

Not much happening...

Davis is so funny when I put him in the grass. It was like he'd never felt it before... He got the willies when he touched it. It was too cute. He sat there outside Chili's and watched the traffic for a few minutes. I think he could stay there all night and watch it if I let him. He especially likes to hear the big trucks and loud motorcycles! Screaming here, I think the traffic was exciting him. So sweet this morning. Don't you love the guitar pj's I got him? They are 12-18 month and the buttons are popping open, I don't get it. Most of his clothes are 6-9 months or 12 months. The 12 months are still a little big on him, but the others are getting too short!

Sunday night...

Dog Humidifier! New Teeth! What an expression... Cutie!! I have been to my second practice for the River Valley Roller Girls! I am officially a member! I can't believe I'm doing it, but it is a lot of fun. I thought I would be just as good as I was 19 years ago, yes it was 1987 when I was skating away my weekends at Jacks! I have only fallen once and it was because there was a missing stopper on one of the skates I was wearing. I will have to get my own gear before I can really start to learn how to play. I'm on my way though! I'm sore in places I never thought I would be and it's definately harder than I thought it would be. I hope everyone is doing well and we are so excited to hear that Daddy will be home for Christmas! The perfect Christmas present for us! We can't wait! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Rare Occurance...

Davis just fell over while watching TV this morning and went to sleep... very strange behavior, no fussing, nothing. It was so funny! Here he is... snoozing away.

Halloween...

FINALLY... got them to load... one at a time! Took me 45 minutes of trying and 4 lost games of spider solitare! But here he is! We stopped by the Church to get some pics at the Fall Festival and to see Aunt B and Katy! Davis wants to get down and out of your arms so much of the time now, we resort to putting him in a walker, but he loves buzzing around in circles and trying to dash down the drive way. He's much better now at getting himself out of Jams in the garage, back yard and in the house! (Back row) AC, Bailey, Blaine and Davis, Brandon is the scary one in the front! Such a cute little lion cub. Davis has learned a new game... it's called UH OH! He loves to drop everything on the ground and say UH OH! He does it at least 20 times before he gets sidetracked into something else! It's so cute!
