Happy 17 months!

This afternoon, hanging out in his toybox and brushing his teeth! He's climbing everywhere now! I can't believe how big he's getting... he's starting to repeat almost everything we say. He's really amazing us. Davis loves his bouncing Zebra.. he can really get to bouncing away on it! Still loving the CARS and the toys that make lots of noise! This week Davis got a new toy from his Aunt B! He loves playing in it and peeking out... We have a busy weekend ahead of us! I'll try to take lots of pics! Hope all of you have a wonderful holiday weekend! I'm just glad to be home, and have only one more week, Just 4 days left of training out of town... yeah!

Happy Times

(photo by his Gramme!) Davis is happy that Mommy is close to finishing her out-of-town training (so is Daddy). He has tremendous support and love from family and friends- always willing to help-out with care and a watchful eye. It's a lot different now than it was only a few weeks ago- Davis is developing some serious speed! He can be out of sight in a blink of an eye. He is one determined little power walker. Maybe later this week, we'll be able to do a full post.

Funny Stuff...

Davis has been walking around most of the night with his towel over his head. He's ran into many things in the process of walking around the house, but hasn't seemed to mind. Nana kept him today and told me he was doing this at her house to0 with one of his little blankets. I'm taking off to Russellville the rest of the week... Mommy's going to miss her guys! But Gramme Faith is coming into town to help! Not that Daddy needs any... but it's nice having an extra set of arms around! I have only 2 more weeks of training left out of town after this one! I think I'm going to make it! Also just want to say Thanks to my guys for making my Mother's Day extra special! Love you bunches! PS... Add Ms. Lorraine (Davis' MDO Teacher) to your prayer list. She went into the hospital last night and we are not sure why. Please pray she gets well. I don't know how the place is going to run without her. We only hope she knows how much she's missed and how valu...

Happy Mother's Day!

Davis has a very special person to thank this Mother's Day- someone who is such a caring and wonderful person! Mommy is always there for me- with a comforting touch, or even the sound of her calming voice. Her love is unconditional- whether i'm fussy, messy, or a combination of the two- Mommy's love is what gets me through! Although i'm growing-up too fast, I'll always be Mommy's little boy!

All Smiles on a Rainy Day

Davis' time outdoors was limited by the stormy weather, but he enjoyed the light sprinkles. He likes being outside and showing-off his walking skills- backwards, circles, no-look, zombie, and the chatter-walk. He takes requests, laughs and praises himself- he's quite the little performer!   Later, Davis tried his first real carrot. You can see his deliberation and his final verdict. He will be sticking to his bananas, applesauce, and sweet potato for the near future. However, he does well at trying new food and always gives it a fair chew!   With steady rain and an unsuccessful taste test, he had to resort to smelling his own foot for entertainment.     (new words this week: baseball, hungry, hi)

Davis' First Vehicle

It's a Big Ford Truck! (thanks Uncle Lance and Aunt Lisa and AC!) Davis really likes sitting in his new ride and acting the part of a courteous and safe driver. He has some funny mimics of his Mommy and Daddy driving routines too. He's serious stuff behind the wheel and knows exactly what to do! Davis is serious about proper vehicle maintenance that will bring miles and miles of smiles! (Davis still isn't too sure about his new haircut)
