Will Trade Braves Shirt for Christmas Sweater*

it's always a fun challenge to find a good spot for Holiday photos  so, after school, we took-off in search of a good spot (for a more neutral blog posting,  we turned his Atlanta Braves shirt inside-out)  with a stockpile of camera batteries & hot wheels cars, we had some after-school nature-riffic fun! (we were fortunate to have more than 45 minutes of perfect natural lighting!) (DJ earned 1 Hot Wheels car for every  250 photos taken this afternoon) (he was presented with 2 cars when we got home) (the spot we found is between Constitution Park & Deer Trails GC @ Chaffee Crossing)

Best Day Ever

is what Davis said after his tent was re-located to make room for the Christmas tree. He is such an excellent holiday helper!!

Eureka Moment

It's always good to visit with Mimi... and it's great to travel up to Eureka Springs! we enjoyed perfect outside playing weather! (Davis has seen a dusting of snow @ Mimi's house on Thanksgiving before) next time, we'll pack his crash helmet & pads -and get a big smile from Davis going down a hill Happy Thanksgiving Mimi!

Yum.

He had been talking about it for a long time. Having chocolate syrup on his pancakes. This morning, it was agreed that he could try it on 3 pieces. After 3 pieces, he asked to have the chocolate syrup wiped-off his plate. He deemed this first/last taste test to be 'good stuff'.

out-takes

@ Lee Creek Park

A chilly, foggy day welcomed us for our return visit  to this picturesque park in Van Buren.  And, if a trip to the park + T'giving vacation wasn't enough fun.... A train with a locomotive at the front & back passed right in front of us! (the conductor gave DJ a big wave, blast of the horn, and a thumbs-up) !!!! (the train passed-by right when we were loading-up) (we immediately cancelled the loading and prepared for amazement!) (the train really lifted our spirits after the sad news  of the Razorback football player)
