Our quarterly trip to the NC started great: good smiles & nice weather then we noticed a note taped to the door...  what could it mean?  there were some flowers still in bloom and butterflies fluttering around...  ...but the note was still a concern...  ...a little distracting to our normal picture-taking fun... yeah, it was a little disappointing  -but the butterfly garden was still open!  Davis knows a lot about butterflies it was a quick trip to the NC, but a fun one too!

 Davis' Citizenship Card had been exemplary. Until today.  He was so terribly sad when he was picked-up from school. (And so apologetic)  He knew that the sad face on his card was going to make Mommy sad.  Sad Davis Tears make it difficult for everyone else to keep from crying too.  Today was a sad day, and a learning experience for Davis. -but next week he will start-over with a new card, and he can show his teachers his big-boy manners!
