Chain discount stores can often overwhelm customers with the vast amount of merchandise available for purchase. Store employees can sometimes get confused, too. Some merchandise, like the item pictured below, isn't supposed to go on sale until Sept. 4th. Mistakes occasionally happen, however.   Register scanners will alert the cashier to a "restricted item" (meaning it isn't supposed to be available for purchase).   It's helpful to Star Wars fans when the cashier just ignores the prompt and hits the override button.    Star Wars "override items" are selling for big bucks online.   DJ says he's keeping this one.

Davis gets his hair cut at a somewhat historical place. DJ checked-out the actual building before it opened as a museum. (a long, long time ago)   Ms Lisa has always been his favorite barber. Davis invented a board game that Shiloh could play. They both seem to enjoy playing without too much concern over who wins.

The Lego X-Wing is back in action! Shiloh Dog accidentally crashed into the X-Wing back in January. She was very, very apologetic.   Everyone is happy to have it back together.

as a 4th Grader! This is DJ's last year at LES (Middle School next year) He's got a natural Big Kid stride when he walks: He reported that he had a fun first day! 

A bright, sunny day for baseball! And, most importantly, bobble head give-away day!!! Yordano "Ace" Ventura Bobble Heads! By winning the North Division 1st Half, the Naturals are guaranteed a spot in the Texas League playoffs! -staying updated on the Royals game in the "Most Comfortable Seat in Baseball" -only at Arvest Ballpark! 15 lbs. of belt buckle bling! Ready for some exciting baseball! Perfect Picnic Table Weather! A dozen base hits by the Naturals equals a dozen free eggs for everyone in attendance! (didn't happen tonight, however) DJ did give chase to a few foul-hit balls. Free Arvest Ballpark WiFi enabled us to keep updated on some other important scores, too! Sunset at the ballpark!
