A Merry Christmas!

Christmas is indeed the season of giving. All gifts are given in the same spirit, but some seem to keep on  giving in a lot of different ways:   (Mommy says there's gonna be payback for this one) (Davis was most excited about Hot Wheels cars and a bag of dirt) ah, the American classic... yeah, it's 5,000 pieces of joy.

Let it Snow!

it's Davis' first memorable snowfall! he did a lot of tasting ...and his new favorite -snowballs!

Party!

Davis had an awesome birthday party at the Wheels in Motion skate rink. ...a fast slide... ...tasty cake... ...friends... Happy 4th Birthday Davis!

new episode

Davis is excited about the new episode tonite on BBCA!

soon to be

Our soon-to-be 4 year old!

Christmas Spirit

Christmas Tree

Davis was a big help with the tree this year. It features a few very special ornaments hand-crafted by the little guy.

a little patience

we should be able to get some good prints from our visit to the UofA campus everyone was patient while 2 cameras clicked more than 3MBs of photos the boys' patience was duly rewarded with treats from Sonic

On Campus

Davis is filling his piggy bank and will be practicing his field goal kicking in preparation for the Fall of 2022. He's undecided about his major right now, but he's leaning towards mechanical engineering.

Razorbacks!

Davis is looking forward to a good Bowl game!

@ Old Main

We had a lot of fun taking photos around the UofA! Davis' cousins went with us, and were a big help! (Tyler, Brandon, Davis, & AC)

Holiday Smile

Visit at Mimi's

Davis is pretty sure that Eureka Springs must be close to Radiator Springs, so he's always ready for a trip to go see Mimi. She has neat things in her yard. Always fun to play outside. And he loved his tractor!

Crafts with Mimi

Davis had fun with his craft project at Mimi's house. We're not sure if he picked-out the colors for the birdhouse, but it's a nice Golden Arrow purple & gold!

Extreme Scootering

It was a challenge to find a suitable spot for Davis to ride his scooter. He wanted to ride really fast down a hill. Finally, we found a spot for Davis to try-out. Would it pass his discriminating road test? Yes! (it's behind Deer Trails Golf Course) (dead-end road) (Davis recommends the use of a helmet) (video to be posted soon)

Real Smiles & Fake Christmas Trees

On our drive through Chaffee Crossing, Davis noticed a field back-dropped with Christmas tree-shaped cedars. A neat spot for a quick photo stop. "But I don't see any lights on the trees" From Davis' recently acquired 'know-it-all' experiences, real Christmas trees come from big boxes stored in the attic. And they have cords with lights. Somewhat startled by a possible dis-connect from nature, we plan on returning to the field with some home made birdseed & peanut butter ornaments to decorate a branch or two. He does enjoy being outdoors in good weather (and he might enjoy wearing his raincoat and splashing in puddles even more). And he just might enjoy having his picture taken. Davis (aka Little Einstein) will decide if the birds get treated to crunchy or smooth peanut butter.

Red White & Blue

PX Pond

Davis went with Daddy to FtChaffee for a haircut (no haircut for Davis this time). Across the street from the barber shop is the Post Exchange (PX). Davis and Daddy have a routine of going across the street (with Davis riding in the front seat) for a snack. After the snack, Davis usually asks to go check-out the small hill. This time, the weather was perfect, the weeds had been mowed, so we ventured-off. It's about a 5 minute walk from the PX parking lot, across a field, and then a small climb up the earthen dam to get to the pond. We saw geese, bugs, and a lot of mud. And a lot of pretending. And a lot of questions. We might have to make a return trip sometime soon (before the weather gets too cold).
