LAVACA- Recipes, coupons, mail- important items that were missing. Residents of a particular home recall that on many occasions, things seemed to become magically misplaced after they were 'filed' on top of a desk in the study room. Direct confrontation with the suspect had been avoided, based on a tip that the individual might have a scary growl. Recently, there had been a sneaking suspicion about the identity of the bandit based on a few cheeto smudges. After the father of the home could not locate his DD form 214, drastic measures had to be taken. Security cameras were set-up in order to un-mask the secretive Desk Bandit. he's always looking for the ON switch for the printer- he loves watching the paper coming out, then running off with it the pure innocent look changes as he focuses on grabbing more paperwork for his collection maybe with these still-frame images, the Desk Bandit can be identified

As every good racer knows, it's all about preparation and an eye for details. Getting to the track early. Checking-out everything, and not leaving anything to chance. Waking-up this morning at 5am, Davis is a serious racer- focused on the checkered flag. After countless hours of testing, he has chosen the best vehicle. He checks the track one last time... The cement truck wins!

The first picture is definitely Davis being a little over-dramatic, but a lot of times, even Davis' blank expressions seem so precious and heartfelt (or just too cute!). He is starting to put more and more words together now, making his own mini-sentences -even talking to himself! 'where did car go? i don't know'. He's so much fun to be around! We feel so fortunate that he is part of our lives! (and we also like to share him occasionally!)

After Davis' bath, Daddy dried his hair and says he didn't do anything to intentionally spike it. You can be the judge. His hair is getting longer, thicker, and maybe a little darker. For his next haircut, we're thinking that Lisa can trim a little over his ears.

The Red Ball. It's his all-time favorite! Part of Davis' routine now is to beg to see his blog. At least once a day, he convinces someone to log-on. Maybe he's wanting to see if there's any more comments (we read all of them to him) -so if you routinely check-out this blog and never comment, you're depriving a poor little boy of some reading material! (previous non-commentors can even go back and comment on past blog postings!) Of course, he likes naming the pictures and watching his videos too. We're hoping that he's not getting too self-absorbed! -note the FS Southside blue on his shirt- this was just before he left to go to the game- he really enjoys the crowd, and especially the band! Davis was excited to wear his lion shirt to school today. ...although sometimes he calls it a kitty-cat Davis has a new animal for his ever-growing zoo: Fearlessly, Davis points-out the tiger's nose and eyes with his own hand. Davis vs Tiger in the ultimate stare-down competition

Davis is outgrowing his clothes at an alarming rate. Today we put Davis in a cute shirt that he will be wearing for the last time- kinda sad. He has so many cute clothes, but not enough time to wear all of them! We're glad that we're able to hand-down some of his clothes and put some in the Growing Kid's Sale- so we can buy more cute stuff that he will be able to wear a few times! (shirt still might be a keeper- he likes to show-off his belly button!)

Davis really gets into character when he's driving his train. From making a high-speed corner to the 'no-hands' downhill run, he does quite a performance. This used to be one of our least favorite toys because he constantly wanted to be pushed around on it. Now, he's thrilled with just climbing on and showing-off. One of Davis' favorite games is the 'assisted forward roll'. It's fairly easy to recognize when he's ready. The best thing about it- no batteries are required

Davis called the Hogs to victory Saturday! He's kinda glad they have an extra week to prepare for Alabama. He's expecting a big game from D-Mac and will be cheering-on the Razorback defense to shut-down the Crimson Tide. Win or lose, Davis has fun being an Arkansas fan!
