6 month pictures...

If you didn't already know, Davis is so handsome, and we have our 6 month pics to prove it. Please go check them out if you haven't already. http://www.rayelawphotography.com/recentsessions/Davis/Entry/ I cried while watching the slideshow. It has great music to it as well. Hope you all enjoy!

Sleeping Baby...

Davis fell asleep on our way to the fireworks tent this afternoon. Look how cute he is! He had his arm up the whole time... I was cracking up inside!

It's your half Birthday!

We found a new float at Walmart, he stays up much better in this one. He did dip his face down into the water a few times when he was trying to chew on it. Last night in the Wagon, We went for a stroll around the neighborhood! Warming up before the swim! Marley was the only one who would come close to Davis, he's really starting to pay attention to the doggies and was even talking to them tonight after our swim. She was very gentle and gave him lots of kisses on his toes! Davis this morning... Me singing Happy Half Birthday to him! What a look I got huh? I wish I knew what he was thinking!

New Wagon...

Chewing on the seat belt, he made a funny face, it must taste bad! I finally got Davis' 1/2 birthday present together and gave him a ride in it tonight. He was very patient while I put it together. I took some pics of him in the lawn out front of the flowers. I think he liked it. He sat in the middle of the two seats... he's not sitting up that great yet, but we are working on it. So he fit perfectly in the middle of the two seats. The seats also fold down, have seatbelts and cup holders... it's pretty sweet! We will be taking him on many walks in this wagon from now on! It's a few more days until his official 1/2 birthday so we'll wait until the 25th to officially say it! Davis is eating lots of baby food and really seems to love almost anything I give him. He likes the oatmeal cereal much better than the rice. But we still give him both for now. He even ate some peaches today that when we had tried them before he didn't like. He also wants to eat what...

Been Busy...

When we went to look at the New Camper... we knew we had to get it because the name of it is Spirit of America, and the whole interior is all patriotic. We had to buy it... it was a sign what else could be more perfect for the 4th of July? It has 2 doors, one to the bedroom and one to the living area! FANCY! We are going to have to take it camping! Here is everyone working tonight at the fireworks tent... we really need your help Marc! Look at all this stuff? We have more fireworks than I've ever seen! Davis stayed with his Aunt B and Gina today while Mommy worked at the tent! I missed him so much!! He's starting to give kisses now... it's so cute, I'm going to try to teach him to close his mouth... he's giving them open mouth.. but it's so cute! Maybe it's because I'm always giving him kisses from me and then I have to give him kisses from Daddy! Davis in the swing... last night... while I was cleaning up the kitchen! Ok we had our 6 month pictures...

New swimwear...

New swim diaper and matching hat! He's such a little babe in them. No more bulky diapers! Yeah! We had fun in the pool today! Davis played until he was worn out, and again went right to sleep after he got changed. I'm so blessed with such a great baby boy! I love you little one!

Happy Father's Day

Here is a video montage I created. We hope you have a wonderful Father's Day. We wish you were here! We are so proud of you. Hope you enjoy your video! Be sure to have the volume turned up on the Computer so you can hear the music! Create your own video at One True Media

Next Week...

We start Fireworks Season... so we will be very busy trying to help out as much as possible up until the 4th of July. I will probably not be posting as much as I have lately. But I promise to try to as often as I can.

Visit with Friends...

This afternoon we went to see Macy, Ginger, Pat and Joe. We had a great visit. Davis was pretty good. Except when he saw Joe eating a popscicle, he started whining and fussing because Joe wasn't sharing it with him. He couldn't resist Davis' big brown eyes and had to give in and share with him. Thanks Joe! Davis liked Macy's little doll... Ok someone thought it would be funny to give it to him since he's never played with a doll before. Just looking cute here... Macy in the dress we bough her for her birthday. Maybe getting a little jealous that her Mommy was holding Davis. She was a good girl though and was very sweet to Davis even when he stuck his foot in her face. Thanks guys for having us out to visit! Always love catching up with you!

Shopping Trip...

Since I had a lot of coupons on baby stuff I needed from Target, I have been wanting to go shopping there for a while, just didn't have anyone to go with me. Today Brenda, Katy, Paige, Davis and I took a trip to Fayetteville. I got a lot of stuff and only spent $130.00!! WOW!! I was excited. Davis was finally able to sit up in the cart, I took some pics of him doing just that, in our make shift shopping cart cover ( i bought a real one there). He didn't stay in it too long, he was tired because he didn't sleep a wink on the way up there like I thought he would. Brenda volunteered to carry him around the store with him sleeping on her. I should have gotten a picture of that. I don't know how she did it. He's getting very heavy! We had a great time and really appreciate them asking us to go with them! Thanks Brenda (Aunt B) for all you do!

Morning Baby...

He's getting up on all fours, looks like he could crawl any day! For now he just drops and rolls. "Mom, you tell me I'm cute all the time!" I love how sweet our baby is when he wakes up in the morning. I hope it's ok to say it but for 4 days in a row he has slept thru the night from around 10pm to 8 am. I have been scared to mention it because it may stop! He went back to sleep after his feeding this morning. Here he is in our bed.

Baby Show...

Davis and Mommy at the Baby Show This is Addison Craig Boerner, my cousin Courtney's new little boy, he was born on June 1st! Isn't he sweet? Baby Zoe! She was born on May 30th! She was making a little face in this picture, I haven't seen her awake yet. Congrats Angie and Jason for having another Beautiful little girl. Angie and Ava (the big sis) Saturday afternoon we went to the baby show to watch Ava in the Fashion Show. We ended up getting a lot of freebies from Gerber and booking a photo shoot with a great photographer for Davis to have his 6 month pictures taken. I can't wait to get them done! Here are some pics of us there and also Angie, Ava and Baby Zoe!

Friday at Nana's

Looking like a little Rock Star here... We are very sad that Nana has to go back to work on Monday! I don't know what we are going to do with ourselves! Here are some pics of Davis this afternoon after his nap playing on the Intellitainer that Papa and Nana bought for him!

Our pool is open...

Finally, we got in even though it was still a little dirty, has some dirt on the bottom, but I think we stirred it up a bit and it will filter out. Thanks Lisa for coming over to help us out. Davis liked the water, it was a little cool at first but it was so hot outside today it felt good! After a while he even started screaming and splashing around in it! Davis was so tired that when I took off his swimsuit and changed his diaper, he fell right asleep in his crib. I didn't have to do anything but give him his binky. We wore him out!

Happy Birthday NANA!

Dinner at Outback, Davis had some of Nana's Birthday Sundae. He loved the ice cream! Thanks for all you do for us! We love you so much!!

Shots again...

Couldn't catch a smile today.. maybe he knew what was coming? We had our second round of shots today. Davis did really well on the first one, then started crying pretty hard on the second one, and by the third one, tears were rolling. I think I did better this time than last. Nana went with us, to support me and to soothe Davis when he was finished while I talked to the nurse. He has been pretty cranky ever since. He seems like he's in pain, while I've been giving him Tylenol ever since and before, seems like he's very frustrated and cranky whatever we do. Poor baby! I wish I could do more for him!

2 nights in a row...

We had dinner with AJ again tonight at Ricks Ribhouse in Van Buren. I've got to stop eating out so much... It seems like I did all weekend. Here are some shots of Davis and AJ. Thanks for a great dinner as always! Here's my little gripe for the night... Why do restaurants not have changing stations? I think every time we go out to eat, Davis poops. I don't know if he's trying to tell me something or if it's just coincidence, but seems like the places I've gone lately don't have changing tables in the ladies room. I think every place should be required to have a family restroom like the mall does. Well, maybe not so elaborate as the mall.. But just a simple changing table please????Maybe I should start a petition. Thankfully, he didn't get fussy like I expected him to. He waited it out thru the rest of dinner and I changed him in the car. I was worried the little man would get upset in the restaurant, but he surprised me and toughed it out, better than ...

Weekend Update...

No Tina Fay or Jimmy Fallon here... but we had a good weekend. Saturday night the whole gang went to eat at Catfish Hole.. one of our favorites. I'm now more impressed with the Chicken there... I like it more than the catfish... Davis got to try a pickle out thanks to AJ. He didn't seem to dislike it, didn't make any funny faces, which I think everyone was expecting. I was scared he would gnaw off a piece of it, but he did get to suck on it for a few minutes. I was squirming in my seat, worried it was going to hurt him some how. Why is it so much more fun to give other peoples children new things... I don't know, but it's scary giving them to mine!

New Swing...

Lillies in the back yard... Papa and Nana bought Davis a swing for outside. He seemed to like it... here he is in it for the first time. Thank you Papa and Nana!
