Old Friends!!

We had a visit with Becky and Greg yesterday! They finally made it in from Buffalo! It was too short of a visit... but we had a great time! Thanks to the Crooks for hosting!! Sam is such a funny little man!! Zoe so cute in her cooking gear!! I love that all three of the kids played so well together yesterday! It's so fun to see all their little personalities coming out...

Miles of Smiles

Maybe it's the oatmeal cream pie, or getting pieces of it stuck to his face, but something really tickled the little boy's funny bone the other afternoon. After he finished the treat, the episode started with Davis making up things he was seeing alongside the road. He can be very believable! Let the smiling begin! (have fun scrolling!) thank you for sharing this fun moment with me!

'Twas the Day after Christmas,

and all through the house, Little children were stirring and searching, for any missed presents, or even a mouse. Airplanes roared and took flight, to look for who had taken that mysterious bite. Party music was provided with cheer, with hope that everyone has a safe and happy New Year!

Happy Birthday...

Yesterday... Mommy: Davis, who's birthday is tomorrow.... Davis: December 25th? Mommy: Yes Davis: Jesus' Birthday annnnnddd... MINE! Happy Birthday to our little Prince! some pics from the past 2 years! 1st Birthday... 2nd Birthday... Merry Christmas Y'all!!

Where's Davis (X 100)

Davis really enjoys balloons, and he got some special ones for his birthday. He's been having a lot of fun with them since his party, in addition to all of his new toys and presents as well. He likes to hide amongst them and then surprise us the hundredth time is just as funny as the first! He is a funny little guy (he hasn't popped one yet, but hopefully it won't be too traumatic if it does happen)

An Eye for the Sky

Holiday popcorn tins have several different uses. They are decorative and nice to look at, and can make for a sturdy seat for the little boy. ...Or maybe, the tin can be used for a launching platform, so the little boy can jump way up high and touch the sky. I wonder which use Davis will decide on... Maybe the look in Davis' eyes will give you a clue... (his first attempt at a back flip was nixed- he will have to save that for gym class) he's got some serious hang time, imagine if he was wearing Air Jordans

Party Time!

Happy 3rd Birthday! Davis celebrated being a year older last night! Lots of monster truck decorations, balloons, family and friends made for a memorable day for the big boy! no longer our little baby :( Davis sampled the cake, but finished-off his Monster Jam cupcake! extra yummy extra cold Sam & Davis waiting for the train only the strong and brave party-goers went on the train ride! (Daddy wimped-out) thanks everyone for making it a special evening for us! (we'll see more family and friends -who weren't able to attend- really soon!)

Christmas Cheer

Davis loves Christmas trees. He helped place ornaments on our tree and at Papa & Nana's. He has an eye for detail, and has a better understanding of "once the ornament is placed on the tree, it stays on the tree." Other important principles such as 'careful' and 'fragile' are being reinforced as well. It's definitely a fun time of the year to be a little boy! Davis and his Papa taking a break. A job well done.

Epiphany

happiness

There's a lot to be happy about once it gets close to bedtime. A nice warm bath, fuzzy PJs, a good book, and his crew of stuffed animals. Sometimes Davis tries to contain his happiness, and other times, he has to vent all of his joy at once. (the 'feet-less' PJs allow toes to express happiness too) (maybe he's hamming-up the happiness just a little in this one)
