It's a great way to start the day! A refreshing, aromatic jolt from a Gingersnap iris! Smells just like root beer! Aunt Holly gave us a nice start of these iris 3 years ago.  Now, we have more than a 12 pack! They are blooming right-on time!

Any day spent at the ballpark is a good day! It was chilly, rainy & windy, then all of a sudden... the huge, bright rainbow appeared! We had excellent tickets for the game! Remembering some awesome moments in Naturals' history! Our own private balcony for the first few innings! 108! (Somehow, Davis remembered the trivia answer from last season) (How many stitches hold together a baseball?) For the St Louis fans, Davis got a great photo with one of the Cardinals' top prospects: (and, players often get traded -so he might wear Royal blue at some point in his career) It's Travis Tartamella! (DJ changed into his neutral  All Star Game shirt) We'll be back soon! Go Naturals!

It's time! Time for our quarterly trip to the Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center! Everything seems to be smaller than what we remember! The fish are always biting, though A new record! A special up-close feeding! Awesome! Strike the deer pose and with a gentle high-five to the frozen bobcat, we say, "See you in July!"

Tiny the pumpkin had been with us since early October. Davis picked him out at the Riverfront Farmer's Market in Little Rock. With some noticeable squishiness, now was the time for Tiny to be put out to seed. Goodbye Tiny. You will be missed.

No worries, it's frozen-solid. Usually, he gets a reward for posing with  a fresh-from-the-freezer critter. -and something super-sized if he can balance the critter on his face This time, he collected a 300+ piece Lego figure

Davis chased-down a spider, stomped it, collected the remnants in a tissue, then crushed it with his bare hand before placing it in the trash.

It's a fun time of year to be outside! spring flowers & Lego cotton candy are the best!

Chatting-up the Naturals' new manager, Vance Wilson!  He played for the NY Mets & Detroit Tigers before he started coaching Batter-Up! It's been 7 years since the Naturals moved from Wichita to Springdale. Go Future Royals! Beginning with the inaugural season, Davis has grown-up cheering  for the AA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. The baseball used for the first pitch of the season is delivered with awesomeness. From the deep, dark depths of Beaver Lake, it's Sinker the Lake Creature! From the picturesque Corn Islands of Nicaragua,  it's power-slugger Cheslor Cuthbert! Everything & everywhere is awesome! New stuff -like the Naturals' Stadium-Cruising Train! A $1 spin of the ballpark...
