Creekmore Surprise!

Mom and Davis checking out the lights... Just before we heard the sound of the train... No one expected it to be running until Dec. 2nd!!  Normal Selfie!  We were joined by Aunt H! Had some delicious cocoa from Starbucks!  It was a beautiful night!! Silly Selfie!

Let's Go Hogs!

Let's end the season with a big win! Davis was amazed by the size & weight  of an actual football helmet  ($285 at the Hog Heaven store -it's labelled "for ornamental use only") (We decided on a less expensive pair of sunglasses) Win or lose, the Razorback Marching Band is sure to deliver an awesome performance!

So very thankful for...

Family & Furry Friends!

Tackling the Fundamentals

Jimminney Christmas! You've got to fight-off those blocks and wrap-up that elusive runner- as demonstrated by DJ and a true coaching legend: Coach Ken Hatfield! He's such a nice & personable guy! The former Razorback football coach -and member of Arkansas' 1964 National Championship team- was gracious enough for photos and some Happy Thanksgiving wishes. On his way out, he even stopped-by our table and said it was nice meeting us -like we've been long-time friends! Kudos to Mom for recognizing him!

Chief One Feather

The Chief has a lot of pressing issues to address,  and does not have much time for blogging. However, as the symbols represent, he is a happy boy!

Just a few photos

just because...

The Wasabi Experience

With a large enough bribe, DJ is game for trying anything! Anything anything? Even a wasabi & soy sauce flavored almond? Yes. Although, it was touch & go for a few seconds. A few highly dramatic seconds.  In order for the tasting to be official,  he has to keep it down.   And, he did it.   Along with a full glass of milk. Hopefully, it's only going to make trying normal things like eggplants & pomegranates easier.   Bring it. DJ ate an entire 'enhanced-flavor' almond! (He wanted Ishani from the movie Planes really, really bad)

#Weekend!

Davis' typical school week is a full schedule. Early wake-ups. An ultra-efficient get-ready-for-school routine. Lots of school work. Homework. Studying & practice tests. Taking care of pets. Getting clean. Reading bedtime stories. Lucky for us,  we can make it fun! -Even if it's just talking about  what we're going to do on the weekend.

Fall's Final Fuzzy Friday

It used to be known as Furry Friday.  A designated day of the week for Shiloh Dog to ride with us to school. (Shiloh was too excited to hold still for the photo) (although she was able to photobomb the pumpkin with her tail) Shiloh even ignored DJ's newly-developed whistle. It was still a successful Fuzzy Friday, however. Davis got to ride to school with his buddy, and began his school day with a big smile.

No Problem

The Date was Saved

November 12th was such an important date around here. The release date for the movie Turbo!

A Pleasant Afternoon

Plenty of nice, warm sunshine! A definite Top 20 weather day of the year! Enjoying it while we can! Tuesday will seem to be about 50 degrees colder! (the 'invisible railing' pose)
