Nature Center

maybe a trip to the Nature Center will cheer-up Davis' bear-ish attitude familiar things like the GBH and unfamiliar places yeah, the Nature Center is a fun experience... interesting things inside.... ...and outside! lots of trails! plenty of sunshine! curious noises -always on the look-out for the black bear- and with a high five to the bobcat, and a solemn goodbye to the turtle, our final trip to the NC for 2009 comes to an end... we'll be back in January 2010!

Sneak Peak

at this year's scary costume:

Visit with Mimi

We had a nice drive to Eureka Springs to see Mimi! It had been awhile since his last visit, but he remembered the neat puzzles, and Lilo. We hope to see Mimi again real soon!

Many Faces

Happy Davis Bored Davis Surprised Davis Confused Davis Concerned Davis Oh My.

Turn it Up

Time for a Haircut

Davis' hair was becoming unmanageable in the morning, so the easiest thing to do was to get the wildness shaved off. Davis' barber (Lisa from FtChaffee) was up for the challenge It's always a fun experience for Davis (thanks Lisa!)

outtakes:

Rain Rain Go Away

but maybe not anytime too soon -Davis is kinda fond of the rain. He likes wearing his monkey rain coat, and he loves splashing in puddles. This photo was taken before he left for school, and we didn't even have to ask for a smile. Something about a drab, drizzly morning makes the little dude happy.

All Better

Davis was diagnosed with strep throat Friday. With medicine, he was feeling much better by Saturday. We kept him out of school today, and he's back to full speed now. Davis wore the mask without hesitation at the doctor's office. When the time came for photos for the blog, he refused to wear the mask. It took a promise of a new helicopter toy, a donut, and airplane videos before he agreed to have his picture taken wearing the mask.

First School Picture!

Wow! What a good looking student! It seems like we were changing diapers just a few months ago. Now, Davis has started his academic endeavors and is so much more independent.

Fun at the Fair

Davis was able to enjoy a lot more of the rides this year! Fast Cars Trains and perhaps his most favorite, the helicopter!
