Davis got his first haircut today! Before.... After...  He's all trimmed up and lookin SHARP!  Everyone in the salon was saying "wow, you have a great baby"  I was extremely proud!

Thursday we went to visit Davis' Gramme Faith! DJ had a birthday cake and lots more presents!  I don't know what we are going to do now...  We have officially been taken over by toys!! Davis loves his Thomas Train... he's so cute on it!  We made it Thursday night to a Ladyback Game!  We had a great time, and Davis seemed to enjoy it too!  It was so nice.. not crowded and very laid back, as was Davis!

Saturday December 23, 2006 Daddy got home late Friday night Dec 22nd. Davis woke up Saturday morning to a new buddy. He's showing Daddy here how to walk him around the house. They do it all the time now! Christmas Eve... Davis had fun opening gifts Christmas Eve night at Nana and Papa's. Earlier that day we had our Christmas Party with Nana's side of the family. Davis had his 1st birthday cake! He didn't want to touch it, but finally ate some of it from me feeding it to him! Thanks Nana and Papa for all your gifts! He loves the singing snowmen and penguins! Christmas Day & Davis' 1st Birthday! AJ and Tootsie came over Christmas Day and had lunch with us! Davis got lots more presents! He especially likes the TMX Elmo! Thanks for joining us, we had a great time!

A phone call, a notice of where and when Daddy is going to be here... It's going to be anytime! We can't wait to see him!

Today was the last day for Mother's Day Out until January... I got a picture of Davis and his teachers... Ms. Karla and Ms. Loraine... they are very sweet and we are lucky to have two ladies, who love our little one, to watch him! Daddy wanted to know if he's been a good boy, so we put on the hat to prove it! Laughing in the back seat today on the way home... I've already turned his car seat around! I love looking at him!

We had a great time in Fayetteville on Sunday afternoon! Davis got to play with lots of new friends! We've been looking forward to meeting some of the other blogger families! Thanks Tim and Mitzi for having us up to your Holiday Brunch! Thomas and Davis playing.... Laci and Jason... Sam!!! Davis outside today... Clapping his hands!

Can now get things from on top of the Desk... Like my tea.. I found him drinking it when I walked into the study. This morning Davis woke up with some really chaffed cheeks... poor baby is so tired of me putting lotion on his face... I just hope it goes away soon! The cold weather has gotten him I guess. He woke up with a runny nose this morning too! :(

Davis had this same expression with the Easter Bunny. I don't think he liked Santa very much. But I'm sure he will one day! We decided to go ahead and see him at the Mall last week. There was no line, but I didn't have Davis dressed in anything Christmas-ee... oh well!

Tonight on the way home from our Train ride... I thought Davis would be worn out... He didn't go to sleep.. .and had other things to do when he got home instead of going to bed... We played for an hour before I got him sleepy! He jumped around in his Jumper, which he loves again! He also walked around the gate at the Christmas Tree! He loves to touch the lights, branches and the ornaments on it. He talked to it a lot tonight. I swear he's saying LIGHTS! He says it and looks up to the lights while pointing his arm up! He's also giving High Fives now! Can you see his big teeth coming in on top? I tried to get some shots of it. Ever since I switched to beta blogger... It's not letting me expand on the photos... who knows what the deal is? It's very frustrating! It's about 15 more days! WOO HOO! We can't wait to see Daddy!

It was going the be the warmest night for a while we hear so we went out to ride the Train at Creekmore park and see all the lights! Davis loved it! I didn't have my real camera so these are from my phone... I was kicking myself too! But these turned out ok!

Davis was so fussy... I don't know if he maybe could sense that I wasn't feeling great or quite up to par and he could feel my frustration I'm sure. We decided to get out of the house and distract ourselves from our crappy moods. It worked... We went to Sam's and stocked up on diapers and what's hopefully our last can of formula. We found the cutest shoes there for Davis too! Little Puma's! I had to get some of course! Afterwards we went to Papa and Nana's to watch the game. It didn't go well there either, Davis was still not in a good mood and I ended up putting him in the car and driving around to get him to sleep. Then we went back and watched the rest of the game... ugh! Thank god he went to bed without a fuss. Now he's back to being the sweet little boy I usually think of him as. His jacket gave him static in his hair, Nana is demonstrating...
