When your birthday falls on Christmas Day, it's nice to have multiple celebrations. Family & Friends  Near & Far, Thanks so Much!

Davis had a fun birthday celebration! Fun with friends!  Fast Fun!  Slow & Steady Fun!  Yummy Fun!  Bouncy Fun! Happy 7th Birthday, Davis!

Celebrating Christmas on a submarine?  All aboard the USS Razorback for some Holiday fun!  Davis has grown considerably from his first visit,  but, he's still an ideal size to be a submariner! all of the Christmas fixin's must be under the floor  -in the sub's food pantry  unbelievably, there's no dishwasher, no microwave, either! Really, what would be better than eating microwave popcorn while watching a Christmas marathon of Spongebob Squarepants episodes while submerged hundreds of feet underwater in a 1940's era submarine?  there has to be a DVD player somewhere in this sub, right?  maybe if some of these knobs are reset...  (not a flat screen TV) but, the sub does have a fancy, double-propeller torpedo! This morning Davis' class had a Christmas Party!  Family was invited to join them in the fun so Mom made an appearance to help with all of the festivities! Making ice cream cone Christmas Trees! Emerson giving Davis a hug!   Back at his table to enjoy his creations! This is sweet Ava!  Davis being silly!  I can't believe we are halfway through the school year!  Davis is ready for Christmas and some snow! 

Santa himself made a visit to Davis' school!

Within minutes of hanging the mistletoe! Davis tricked Mom into standing under the doorway, and then gave her a nice Christmastime kiss! And, we have a super-special-secret  sustainable source of Christmas mistletoe! (Mimi's front yard) Never knew that the stuff grows right out of the trunk of the tree! We had been talking a lot about mistletoe, and all of a sudden it appeared in a lone tree within easy reach! (for Dad and/or a Dad/Davis totem pole) It made Polar Express/PJ Day even more exciting & fun!
