I survived...

our first day of MDO. Just barely though. Davis seemed to be doing fine when I went to pick him up. I was so eager to go get him... I felt like speeding the whole way there. I felt justified to do drive too fast. It was a huge deal! I mean I can't imagine a police man not excusing me for hurrying to pick up my child. They said he did great and loved going out in the stroller, which didn't surprise me at all. There is a lot of traffic around there and Davis loves watching it fly by him. His little head started whipping around to see it when we got out of the car this morning. It was pretty hectic there because lots of babies were crying. Sounded like more than 5 but his class is only 6 of them and they are all boys! I thought I explained everything to them this morning, but maybe they just didn't hear me, because tonight while I was cleaning out Davis' bag I found that his lunch wasn't touched! I had all kinds of bad thoughts and feelings running thru me. But his bo...

Busy Day...

Ava sitting in the Bumbo seat! Zoe in her Rock and Roll onesie, she's such a cutie! Our little man, looking so handsome! Today was so beautiful, only 80 degrees. I actually got a little chilly at times! MMM I hope it lasts! Davis and I got out early and went to visit, Angie, Ava and Zoe. Then we headed to Amy, Ben and Ian's house and got to visit with them. Baby Ian is 6 weeks old. I didn't get to take any pics there, I was busy feeding Davis. I will get some nextime though. Tomorrow we start Mother's Day Out. I'm a little anxious and I probably won't get much sleep. I have already said many prayers that it will go smoothly. I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I can!

From Daddy's Pics on Yahoo... Thanks Babe for making me smile and feel all warm and fuzzy inside! I love you too!! XOXO

Monday at Nana's...

Look at his chin! He's got dirt and fuzz all over him! I'm wandering what it tasted like... It couldn't be good. He's pulling up on the kitchen chair here under his chair that hooks directly to the table. Venturing into the Kitchen... Cute Smile, Nana playing Peekaboo with him. Another Peekaboo smile...

Daddy's Photos

If you all haven't checked out the link to Marc's pictures, here is one that I love. You have to be a member of Yahoo to check them out. It's free, you just have to have a user name. This one is so beautiful. I think he's doing a great job at taking pics!

Pics from this morning...

8 months Old!!!

I can't believe Davis is already 8 months old! I can't believe Marc has been gone for 10 months... In someways it's been a long 10 months, and in another way it has flown by. Davis is growing up so fast. I only hope he has been able to see the changes in him on this blog. I really makes me sad that he hasn't been here for all the firsts! But there will be plenty more firsts to come I am sure that he will be here for! I weighed Davis this morning and he's 19.5 lbs and I measured him at 28 inches long! Davis loves to try everything that is on my plate. I haven't found anything he won't eat. He's now feeding himself Cheerios and Fruit Puffs. I think he prefers the Cheerios. It's so cute watching him pick one up at a time with his little fingers and put it in his mouth. Of course that means he can pick up and put anything in his mouth... so i'm having to really watch what he can reach! Davis is pulling up on everything now. Especially likes to pull u...

Brusha Brusha...

Got some pics of Davis brushing his two little teeth! He's pretty good at it! We are doing it two times a day!

Whew...

I didn't have to strike for too long! Daddy emailed and commented today! YEAH!! I'm so relieved maybe I will get some sleep tonight! No pics because my battery finally went dead, I haven't charged it since we went to Branson and that was a long time ago! Davis brushed his teeth for the first time tonight! But the battery was dead on the cam so I don't have any pics! Thanks Daddy for checking in with us! We love you!! MWAH!

We are going on strike...

Pulling up on my leg, if you click on the picture you can really see his two bottom teeth! Pulling up on the chest   Crawling on our couch. We haven't heard from Daddy in a while. No more posts until we do! We miss him so much and need to know he's ok.

Blues Festival...

Tonight we survived going to the Blues Fest downtown by the river. It was 102 degrees at 7pm. It was HOT! I don't know how we made it, but we managed to stay until 9pm had a corndog (shared it with Davis) he is starting to want everything I have. So I try to find something that he can try too! This was his first concert to attend. He did very well.. .we didn't sit too close because it was too loud for him and us. These pics are of him playing on the blanket during the concert.

Working on AOL

Davis at Mammy's on Monday night, I thought maybe you could see his teeth in this pic, but I'm not too sure if you can. It's a cute one anyway! This is Davis sleeping, see his foot up by his head. Just a few minutes before he was sitting up in his bed crying, because i've been letting him cry it out and go to sleep on his own. This day he cried for only about 5 minutes, I peeked in on him when he got quiet and saw him just sitting zombie like staring at the wall, I had to be quiet, but it was so funny. This is what I found when I went back in there. He literally just fell over from his sitting position to this position. I don't know how in the world he slept this way but I had to get a pic of him. It looks incredibly uncomfortable, but he was sleeping soundly, even my picture taking didn't wake him. He still cries when I put him to bed, but usually not longer than 10 minutes. I think he's getting used to falling asleep to the Baby Mozart CD I put...

Who does he look like?

MOMMY!! We know he has my eyes, but he may have Daddy's mouth and chin! The top pictures are me at 9 months and the bottom one is me at 6 months. We don't have any close up pictures of Daddy when he was this age. But I definately see some of Daddy in him!

Sink Time

It's so much easier to give Davis a bath in the sink instead of the bathtub. I've been doing the bathtub for a while, but it's much easier on me and safer for Davis to have a bath in the sink, he seems to enjoy it just as much as the big bath... so here we are taking a bath before bedtime. Most of you know i've been letting him cry it out this week. Tonight it only took 15 minutes before he was out. Maybe he won't be so hoarse. Hopefully he won't wake up and cry to long in the middle of the night. It's so hard to let him do it, but I think it's working. I know it's blurry but it's so hard to catch these 2 little teeth. I think you can see the little white marks on his gums (that's them!)

This Week...

Has flown by and it's Friday before I know it! It seems like I just got home from Branson! Where did my time go? This afternoon we had a visit with Mitzi and Sam and Aunt Becky! Sam and Davis had fun with the water bottle. It was hilarious watching them take it back and forth from each other. We have to thank Sam's MEMAW for getting us another water bottle! They like to play with the simplest things. Why do I buy all the expensive toys? Davis pulled up to standing on his toy bucket in the living room! Sam in his overalls! I forgot to dress Davis up in his matching ones so the pics would be extra extra cute of them... :( Davis was upset because Sam got his water bottle... look how sad he is... He's getting it back! They were so funny going back and forth with the water bottle, we had to get them each one! We had a fun time watching the boys play together, hopefully this was the first of many times they will get to fight over things!!

Branson...

We had a great weekend in Branson. Loved the new Branson Landing Mall. We spent a lot of our time there just hanging out by the lake and at the Bass Pro Shop. Davis got a cute camo hat and onesie and a lot of other things! Thanks everyone who made this a great weekend. We even got a visit from Gramme Faith, Aunt Lori and Uncle Mike! So glad they could come to see us! Davis was so good for the trip. He was pretty worn out by all the days end. We went to see the Dixie Stampede and had a tough time there at first. He was scared and upset by all the noise that was going on, but we made it thru, he finally settled down and started looking at all the things going on around him! Davis' first tooth coming thru, this weekend his second one popped thru too! Sleeping at the mall... He was a wonderful boy the whole time! Playing with AC after their bath! Davis found a turtle to play with this morning, my lens fogged up when i took the camera outside... Dav...

First time in Grass...

Davis had a great time playing in the grass at Papa and Nana's the other night. It was his first time and he was so curious about it.... running his hands over it and over it again and again. I love these pics I got of him... Hope you enjoy! Still can't get one of that tooth!

I see a Tooth!

Finally our sweet baby has gotten his first tooth! It's barely showing thru, but I noticed it this afternoon. He will hardly let you in his mouth to check it out. I will do my best to get a shot of it some time. It may be as difficult to do that as it was for Davis to get that tooth in! Atleast I know my dream didn't come true, not all at once. It is his bottom right one! Here he is napping in his swing this afternoon, I changed it's position to sit up more, and see what happened? Poor baby!

Afternoon in Waldron...

Davis jumping on the bed at Aunt Gina's house More jumping... he can't get enough Resting for a few minutes with his cousin Danny
