Nature Center

It doesn't seem possible that an entire quarter-year has passed since our last visit to the Nature Center. Davis counted all 20 fish in the huge tank.   And he read about the catfish's whiskley whiskers. He got to do some catch & releasing too. Davis must be happy about being close to out-growing the birdhouse. New: a 3D spider puzzle to go along with the tarantula exhibit   Davis liked seeing all the different animals indoors -without the pestering flying insects (trying to match the deer's pose) and as always... a gentle high five to frozen bobcat for another great visit!

Showdown at the Nature Center

Mr Smelly Feet vs Pepe' Le Pew

Treasure Box

Davis was excited today after he got rewarded at school! He filled-up another row of stars and picked-out a cool prize from the Treasure Box!

where are they?

Davis is looking and searching for comments!

At the Beach

...or at least a sandy spot on the banks of the Arkansas River nice, soft sand   good for lots of entertaining monster truck racing and moments for reflection       lots of fun in the sand   ...and lots happening on the river... Brrr! Davis dipped a toe in a shallow pool of the river.  overall, it was super-nice weather for an awesome experience!

Oh Captain, My Captain

Davis enjoyed his trip to the river. He got to see the Miss Dixie up close as she pushed some barges up the river. Quite a sight for the little boy.   Concerned the boat had lost its way when the horn blew, Davis points the way.

#1 Kids

The Pre-K kids at LES raised over $2,000 for St.Jude Children's Hospital!

Personal Training Facility

It's a necessity for all serious athletes.   Team Davis has taken-over the region's top training facility to get ready for the upcoming season.   Davis' favorite: cross-training on the heavy bag.   Then it's time for a grueling session of aerobics.   Game On.

Trike-a-Thon

The LES Trike-a-Thon is tomorrow! Davis found a super-fast trike that will for sure win the race. Although, it is all about having fun and raising money for a good cause.

First Swim of '10

Davis & Mommy went with Daddy to LR for what turned-out to be a non-drill weekend. Davis was not disappointed at all! Almost all week long he was talking about getting to go swimming in the hotel's indoor pool.   He has lost some of his swim, but it shouldn't be too long before he starts improving from last year. (recent change of mind: when he grows-up, Davis says he wants to be a swimmer at the hotel)
