Football Game...

Davis' cousin Brandon had a football game tonight at Hunt's Park. It was a beautiful afternoon. Here are some pics of Davis at the game. Really watching the traffic on Old Greenwood behind us. He's fascinated by the cars going so fast!

9 months old...

Wow, what a week and weekend it was. Davis, Nana and I ventured to Little Rock last Thursday to visit Misty and Blakely. It was a similar site to me when we got to see him in the NICU. Davis went thru the same thing, almost... but didn't have to have oxygen or a feeding tube. There is nothing wrong with him now! Thank you to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers. This sometimes happens when babies are born via C-Section. Dr's say that since they don't get that PUSH they get when you have them regularly, they don't always get the fluid out of the lungs initially. That was it. So similar to what I went thru with Davis. Since they were in Mena, AR they sent them to the AR Children's Hospital, because they are affiliated with LR, and not Fort Smith. It was just very scary to us at first as to why we had to go to LR if it wasn't so serious. Anyway, ALL is Well and they should be going home tomorrow! Today was Davis' 9 month check up! He did very well conside...

Please Pray...

For our newest addition to the family... Blakely Adam was born on Tuesday Sept 19th, weighing 7lbs 13oz. He was breathing 100+ times a minute and his oxygen was low. So they put him on Oxygen, they said that could be normal with a C-Section... anyway, he has not progressed or eaten for them and the hospital did a scan and found fluid in his lungs and a small hole in his heart. They were most concerned with the fluid. This afternoon they flew him up to the Arkansas Childrens Hospital where I have yet to hear anything. Misty (the mom) called me a minute ago and had good news. Blakely is already doing better and they think he has Pneumonia, but they will be there at least 10 days. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. She will be there with Blakely by herself most of the time... here is a pic I got to take of him thru the window.

Rainy Sunday...

We had a great time playing in the rain at Mammy and Tom's 80th Birthday Party! Here's Davis with his hand in the rain... He was such a good boy but really worn out by the time we left!

I love watching the doggies!

Marley and Trooper are the ones who will come visit Davis when he's watching them from the back door! He just giggles away at them! It's too cute! He now gets himself standing infront of it so he can watch them play!

Morning Walk...

It was cold this morning here... in the 50's. Davis had to try out one of his new hats for the walk....We took the camera on the walk in case we noticed any pretty birds. We saw a blue bird in front of someone's house, but thought it looked funny of me taking a picture of their house so I decided not to get it! I may have looked suspicious!

Afternoon Stroll...

It's been so nice out today... not over 75 degrees! We had a nice walk around the block in the wagon. Here are some pics of Davis after our walk... We heard from Daddy this morning. It was a short phone call, but good to know he's doing well! Thank you Daddy for calling us! We love you and miss you like crazy!!

Halloween Preview...

He's a BIG MEAN LION!

Fun at the Park...

Playing in the Grass at Carol Ann Cross Park was fun!   Davis had a good visit with Gramme Faith! Davis playing in the water fountain...   Swinging just barely, there were no belts on the swings!

Beautiful Week...

Davis is wearing his "My Dad is a Hero" shirt. It's one of my favorites! This has been a very busy week for me. I'm trying to get a baby shower together for my cousin Misty. It's on Saturday. We've been anxiously awaiting Marc to contact us and I finally got an email and a comment on the blog from him. He's doing fine, but been really busy with "work". I was about to go on strike again. I haven't taken that many pics this week either, but it has been such a beautiful week. Perfect weather for me anyway! In the 60's at night and in the 80's during the day! I wish it was this way year round! Wednesday Davis did much better at his MDO. They said he was great! I know most of you have heard this story already, but when I went to pick him up on Wednesday afternoon, they were riding around in the big stroller (seats 8) and there were 6 boys in it. Davis was sitting by one and when he pulled up to they classroom, Davis had h...

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday Daddy! Hope you have a wonderful one! Call us soon! We love you and miss you so much! Treat yourself to something special today! Did you get your package from us yet? Love you! Davis and Brandy

Labor Day Weekend...

Davis had to wear his Razorback gear on Saturday to get ready for the big game! We had lunch with AJ at Olive Garden, it was great! Thanks so much AJ for the birthday gifts for me and Davis and for the delicious lunch! We had to stop by after lunch and say Hi to Papa and Nana before they went to tailgate for the big game! They look so cute in all their Razorback stuff... even the car gets dressed up for the game! Davis is so good at giving kisses now... he's kissing Nana goodbye. Sunday we went to Tulsa to watch Jonathan in a soccer tournament. We had a great time. Davis loved watching the players from the sidelines! He's wearing his shirt I got him in Branson that says "MY DAD ROCKS!" While we were shopping at Mommy's favorite stores, Babies R Us and Target, we had soooo... many Daddy's ask about the shirt and comment about how they wanted one for their's. He looked so cute in it with his camo pants! Thanks Nana, Aunt Gina and Aunt ...

Fun Friday...

Davis' first football game last night, Ramsey vs Chaffin. Katy's first Majorette performance went well and no one dropped their baton so they got Pizza today for lunch! It was exciting! This is Davis and his Great Uncle Keith! Swinging and chewing on the belt.. what a face! Sucking the water out of the wash cloth. Splashing in the water! Strumming the guitar, his newest discovery! Davis had his 2nd day of MDO today. They said he cried a lot, if they picked him up he would stop of course. They also fed him today! YEAH!! I'm glad I didn't have to adjust his schedule. He also took a 45 min nap for them. I think he's teething some more. He's always chewing on his thumb, not sucking on it. I love watching his face light up when he sees me. It's such a great feeling! We had a good night tonight at Papa and Nana's. Davis got to swing, and play in the wash tub. Davis loves playing in the water so we just gave him a bath outside tonight.
