Davis tonight after his bath, yes he's sucking his thumb in one. He's such a cutie, he brings so much joy to my life. Tonight I had to rock him to sleep and he was laying on my chest looking up at me just smiling at me and finally after about 20 minutes of cooing and smiling... he fell asleep. He's not been as good at falling asleep on his own this week as he was last week.

We had our 4month check up this morning. Dr. Beene said you were just Perfect... which Mommy already knew. Davis is 14lbs 8oz and 25.5 inches long! I was close! She said we can start getting him off the Zantac as soon as I am ready to try. We are going to change up his formula because he has been on the Nutramigen which is the most very expensive formula you can buy. So after those changes we will take away the zantac then start him on veggies and fruits. I'm very excited to see what he's going to like. Davis did all his tricks for Dr. Beene too. I was so proud. He screamed his happy scream, talked, stood, grabbed his toes and giggled and held himself up high on his belly then rolled over for her! We went to visit Mammy after our appt.

Mommy had a break and got to do some much needed catching up on housework. Davis stayed at Papa and Nana's here are some pics of him. He was checking out a picture of his Daddy in one of them. We are talking about you all the time!

Saturday night we went to the Outback Steakhouse. Davis has started a screaming thing and he was doing it all day and during the whole dinner it was so hilarious. Here is a picture of Davis and Papa while he was screaming and Papa was laughing at him.

Davis is falling asleep on his own now.... He's done it two nights in a row!!! I usually rock him to sleep but the last few nights something has waken him, like a phone call or a message from Daddy, which we love so I layed him down in his bed and turned on his mobile and didn't even get much crying. Wow!! I'm so proud! No pics because I don't want to wake him! He's slept from about 9:30 pm to 4:30 and that's pretty long for us! Maybe it will get even longer!

Look at Davis on his changing pad. He's almost as long as it! I can't believe how fast he's growing! He's so curious... some people call it NOSEY... but I call it curious! He wants to sit up all the time, doesn't like being in his car seat that lays him back at all. He loves standing up too! He's so strong! He can now grab things with both hands, yesterday he took his passy from my mouth and put it into his! He's also started playing with his feet! I can't wait to see how much he's grown! We go to see Dr. Beene on Monday morning. I will definately post his stats as soon as I can! I'm going to bet he's 15 lbs and 26 inches long... i promise i haven't measured him! We'll see!
