After spending almost 5 hours in the ER, (till 3am) and all Davis got was a free watch. At least that's what we were thinking 95% of the time we were there last night with Davis. He started running a high fever Saturday. A quick call to his nurse, some meds, and he seemed to be doing better by afternoon. Sunday night, Davis was again burning up with fever. We got him to the ER quickly (Daddy had recently gotten a warning for doing 50 in a 35, so we figured he could get out of another ticket this time for sure- so he drove us). Long story short, Davis has an ear infection. He never motioned towards his ears or gave us a clue what the problem was. After we got home and able to think more clearly, we're not as frustrated as when we were waiting hour after hour at the ER. We're glad we caught the infection as soon as we did, rather than trying to control/knockout the fever and seeing his regular doctor later on in the week. Nobody knows what to think of Ranger Dog's new haircut. He looks like a totally different animal. Without the 20lbs of fluffy fur, he's going to stay a lot cooler this summer! Davis can recognize Ranger's bark, and he doesn't shy away from telling him to 'chill out'.

Our baby is all grown up now. It's kinda sad, but exciting at the same time. Daddy took apart the crib and put it in the attic. Davis' new car bed (Growing Kid's Sale!) was brought in to replace it. To say the least, Davis really loves the new bed. He's one little happy car-sleeping dude!

Davis is one of the biggest fans of the blog. Everytime he sees a computer, he asks someone to 'check the blog'. So, while he's always checking it out, it will be a nice surprise when he sees a post with him and his Monkey. There are actually a number of Monkeys (travel monkey, Papa & Nana's monkey, emergency mini-monkey) -and sometimes he'll even go nite-nite with two monkeys -on special occasions. For all the drama and trauma that Monkey has been so skillfully able to soothe-over with the little boy, this post is for you! aww, Monkey gets a kiss

Davis gets excited when he sees one motorcycle in a parking lot. At the Touch-a-Truck kid's show in Rogers, Davis was almost overwhelmed! Police motorcycles, Excavators, Garbage Truck, Helicopter, Dump Truck, 4 Wheeler, Fast Cars!!!
