Davis got to do a lot of car watching while he was in Little Rock. He found a look-out point way up high where he could spot sporty convertibles and fast sports cars He thinks this Solstice is just his size and he knows Corvettes are super fast!

Davis' new favorite place to eat in Russellville is Stoby's. We were on our way to Little Rock last week to spend the weekend with Daddy who was going to drill at Camp Robinson. Although he thinks Whataburger is fun to say, this is the place to stop whenever we're passing thru R-ville. (Everywhere we go, it's always a good place for baseball practice. Davis throws with his left hand, but here he is showing Daddy how to properly grip a rock for a split-fingered fast ball -since Daddy is right-handed) Stoby's has good food, an entertaining parking lot, and most of all -trains! we ate inside an old passenger car and watched model trains go by overhead Davis is serious about wanting to go back to Stoby's soon!

We had dinner with Grandpa AJ! Davis enjoyed a nice dinner of hush puppies and chicken (followed by a blue sucker) at the new Catfish Hole in Alma. We also saw Papa, Nana, Davis' doctor, Grandpa AJ's friends, old USA truck co-workers, friends from UAFS -it seemed like we knew everyone in the restaurant! on the way home, it was so nice and cool, we had to stop at Springhill for some outdoor fun

Davis enjoys driving through Ft Chaffee. This evening, it was cool enough to get out of the car and check-out something that Davis has had his eye on for a long time! It's the 'Little Building' aka Gate #5 He walks-in and says 'woo-hoo!' It's Mommy & Davis! Davis in a moment of quiet reflection

It started with Davis promising to be careful while drinking from his cup without a lid on the couch (Daddy's idea). He has just started with the cup, so each time has the potential for spectacular spills. If he gets distracted by a little drip, he looks down (and angles the cup down) and the entire contents get spilled-out. It seems to surprise him each time it happens. With some positive re-enforcement after every successful sip, Davis should be drinking with the big boys any day! Maybe Davis thinks it's funny that we get nervous whenever he has an open container. Whatever it is, he enjoys going from the all-serious look to the super-cheesy smiles!
