Looking back on the past year brings  a big smile to the little boy. Davis was able to visit a lot of friends and family and share some good fun and special memories. For the upcoming year, we're hoping for more happy times, and being able to share more joy! (we're very receptive to free babysitting) He's developing his own attitude, which at times has some dramatic swings. But overall, he's a determined individual thinker with a creative and spontaneous imagination. Mommy and Daddy feel so very blessed that we are able to share our lives with such a wonderful person! Have a safe and happy 2009!

We had a visit with Becky and Greg yesterday! They finally made it in from Buffalo! It was too short of a visit... but we had a great time! Thanks to the Crooks for hosting!! Sam is such a funny little man!! Zoe so cute in her cooking gear!! I love that all three of the kids played so well together yesterday! It's so fun to see all their little personalities coming out...

Maybe it's the oatmeal cream pie, or getting pieces of it stuck to his face, but something really tickled the little boy's funny bone the other afternoon. After he finished the treat, the episode started with Davis making up things he was seeing alongside the road. He can be very believable! Let the smiling begin! and all through the house, Little children were stirring and searching, for any missed presents, or even a mouse. Airplanes roared and took flight, to look for who had taken that mysterious bite. Party music was provided with cheer, with hope that everyone has a safe and happy New Year!

Davis really enjoys balloons, and he got some special ones for his birthday. He's been having a lot of fun with them since his party, in addition to all of his new toys and presents as well. He likes to hide amongst them and then surprise us the hundredth time is just as funny as the first! He is a funny little guy (he hasn't popped one yet, but hopefully it won't be too traumatic if it does happen)

Holiday popcorn tins have several different uses. They are decorative and nice to look at, and can make for a sturdy seat for the little boy. ...Or maybe, the tin can be used for a launching platform, so the little boy can jump way up high and touch the sky. I wonder which use Davis will decide on... Maybe the look in Davis' eyes will give you a clue... (his first attempt at a back flip was nixed- he will have to save that for gym class) he's got some serious hang time, imagine if he was wearing Air Jordans
