  Even though the Nature Center is a 15 minute trip from the house,  we still consider it to be a special trip. After our numerous visits, Davis always manages to find something new! the spoonbill catfish way up high is new  snakes are always a favorite  turtle in the clear box never gets old Big smiles from Davis -not new new & cool fishing lure exhibit! comforting the black bear Davis does a little indoor fishing a slightly awkward high-five,  but a 'best friends' confirmation nonetheless

From our first visit to Wells Lake in October 2007, to today's visit. 22 months between the two photos. From crawling in diapers to running and leading the way being cradled in one arm to touching in the pool Davis is growing, and more independent each passing day. Giggles, pouts, screaming tears, and drool stinky feet and holes in new jeans through it all, Davis had our hearts won. Changes bring new hopes and dreams, and certain pride of our son.

 This is Davis' last year of Pre-K  He has been talking about going back to the elementary school for the past few weeks.    So, today was something we had been looking forward to!
