to Aunt Holly! thanks for the awesome jacket! enjoyed our visit! (maybe less talking about cell phone towers next time) (a little disappointed we had to leave when it started snowing)

We had a big travel day- first, to Springdale in search of a bookstore with a train table. Next, it was XNA, to pick-up Aunt Holly. Then we went to Eureka Springs, to Mimi's house. After our Thanksgiving lunch, Davis saw his first snow of the season! We had to get back on the road a little earlier than we had planned, but we enjoyed our visit. Our final turkey-day stop: Papa & Nana's for dinner. Here's hoping everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

The Ghost Adventure's visit to Fort Chaffee airs tomorrow night on the Travel Channel. Davis has never seen the show, but he knows  lots of stuff about ghosts, and he has spent a lot of time on Fort Chaffee. We might save the episode on the tivo, so he can watch it later (in about 10 years). (it had been a little sad seeing the chimneys [the only survivors of the big fire a few years ago] slowly disappear, as the area is being primed for development...but we found a cool path that is being made out of the crushed bricks from all of the chimneys!) Ft Chaffee may be a little spooky, but Davis has a lot of fun there!

When Davis started protesting about getting paint on his hand for his artwork, his teacher simply traced his hand, and Davis did the painting. Problem solved.   (B.Cuckoo wanted to be in the photo)
