I finally got Davis' 1/2 birthday present together and gave him a ride in it tonight. He was very patient while I put it together. I took some pics of him in the lawn out front of the flowers. I think he liked it. He sat in the middle of the two seats... he's not sitting up that great yet, but we are working on it. So he fit perfectly in the middle of the two seats. The seats also fold down, have seatbelts and cup holders... it's pretty sweet! We will be taking him on many walks in this wagon from now on! It's a few more days until his official 1/2 birthday so we'll wait until the 25th to officially say it!
Davis is eating lots of baby food and really seems to love almost anything I give him. He likes the oatmeal cereal much better than the rice. But we still give him both for now. He even ate some peaches today that when we had tried them before he didn't like. He also wants to eat whatever i'm eating or drinking. He loves to drink out of a glass like a big boy. He doesn't want to stop until it's empty. I only do this with water so don't worry. He often sings in the back seat while i'm driving. I call it singing because it's continuous, he just says AHHHHH for a long time. Then changes to an eeewwwww. It's adorable! I usually start singing with him. He's sitting up sometimes for a few seconds and we are practicing, but mostly he's scooting and rolling around everywhere. I need to lower his mattress on the crib, he may start pulling up soon. He's sleeping from around 9pm to 7 or 8 in the morning. Sometimes he wakes up in the middle of the night, but not too often. He is STILL teething... and no teeth. Poor baby! I wish something would come of the teething. I had a crazy dream that I woke up one morning he smiled and all his teeth were in. It was weird! We go on July 7th to see Dr. Beene for his 6 month check up and I can't wait to see how big he is! I've been looking at regular car seats instead of the carrier. And trying to remember the cart cover for him when I go to the store. I'll get used to the idea of him sitting up, I think it will be much easier. That carrier is getting super heavy! He doesn't like to look at me anymore, he's always wanting to turn around, climb me, and push me away to explore everything around him. He definately loves cell phones and remotes the most!
He's amazing. I can't remember what I did with myself before him. I thank God every day for the beautiful son I have and the wonderful, brave, and loving husband! I love you both so much!
