8 months Old!!!

I can't believe Davis is already 8 months old! I can't believe Marc has been gone for 10 months... In someways it's been a long 10 months, and in another way it has flown by. Davis is growing up so fast. I only hope he has been able to see the changes in him on this blog. I really makes me sad that he hasn't been here for all the firsts! But there will be plenty more firsts to come I am sure that he will be here for! I weighed Davis this morning and he's 19.5 lbs and I measured him at 28 inches long! Davis loves to try everything that is on my plate. I haven't found anything he won't eat. He's now feeding himself Cheerios and Fruit Puffs. I think he prefers the Cheerios. It's so cute watching him pick one up at a time with his little fingers and put it in his mouth. Of course that means he can pick up and put anything in his mouth... so i'm having to really watch what he can reach! Davis is pulling up on everything now. Especially likes to pull up by grabbing my legs or pants he's not really moving around things yet. He loves his new walker and his activity table that he can stand up and play on. Anytime I leave the room, the little man knows it and follows me. I haven't yet put up any gates around the house, I'm not sure how we can do it. He sometimes says Dada and Mama and Baba. But he won't do it on command. So i'm not sure we can call those words. He babbles all the time. He still loves you to sing to him. His favorites are Take me out to the ball game and I'm a little teapot! He loves to tear up magazines and mail. Still loves to play with Mommy's cell phone and the remote. I gave him an old cell phone to play with, but it doesn't satisfy him like mommy's does!He loves to play peekaboo! Davis loves to watch traffic and is so in his Car toy I got him! He loves watching the doggies too he just giggles at them, it's so cute! He has 2 teeth on the bottom and it looks like one is coming in on the top, not the middle but the one next to it! I think that will be so funny if he gets the outter ones first! We'll see! Davis is sleeping good at night. I put him in his bed and he fusses a little but soon falls to sleep with his Baby Mozart CD. He usually sleeps to 7am. I took some pics of him in some new winter hats we got him! I can't wait until we can wear fall winter clothes. I will post some pictures later. Davis is now in my lap, he found me! Thank you to everyone who has helped me so much during this past 10 months! Marc, we love you and miss you more and more each day! Thank you for all the letters you send us, and the phone calls too! We look forward to checking the mail every day!
