Veterans Day...

Davis finally holding his own bottle... the whole time!
Too bad we only have one more month of it before we take it away!

Saturday was Veteran's Day and Davis and I spent the afternoon downtown... We went to the Holiday Market for some Christmas Shopping and then stopped by the National Cemetery to visit my Papa Phillips' grave and a good friend from High School Kevin Covey. It was a beautiful day and I loved seeing the National Cemetery decorated in all the flags. It's always nice to go there and reflect on the good times had pay our respects to the thousands of Soldiers that served for our country. I must say... I'm very proud to be the wife of a Soldier. Just 4 weeks or so until he comes home for R & R! YEAH!! We can't wait!!!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
