Airplanes!

Davis was saying earlier in the day that he was ready to check-out some airplanes. He was excited and we thought we might have a hard time keeping-up with him. But when the time arrived, he was a little hesitant about the whole thing. We started in the back of the museum with all the Army trucks and trailers, and it seemed to help a little.

Maybe it was just too much for the little guy. Jeeps, trailers, spare tires, flags, stars -all of his favorite stuff, all together in one place!

Soon he was walking with Daddy, asking questions and pointing to things

He enjoyed sitting on the floor, getting his hands dirty, and pointing-out june bugs

(and of course stomping on them).

Here's Davis pretending to fly his toy airplanes in a classic dogfight

We had an overall good time at the Arkansas Air Museum
at Drake Field in Fayetteville!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
