Davis volunteered to go outside and help Daddy complete another section of concrete for a path in the backyard. He had already had a bath and was ready for bed, but he insisted on helping-out. Daddy's yardwork routine was disrupted by the too-close Razorback game, so the guys found themselves finishing-up after dark!
Davis has had practice throwing rocks, so spreading pea gravel over the wet concrete was easy work for him. Daddy didn't even need to explain how to do it. At one point, Davis even told Daddy to move to the other side, so he could get the gravel where it needed to go! After Daddy tamped-down the gravel with a cinder block and went to put some tools away, Davis pressed his luck and went for a walk down the new section of path. We'll have to make some impressions of Davis' feet before Daddy's done with the concrete work.
