Butterfly Palace

(this is not Davis holding a butterfly, some little girl wanting to share it with him, but he wanted nothing to do with holding it)

We've always talked about taking Davis to this place, and luckily our hotel was right next to it this time, and we made a quick change of plans and went to the Butterfly Palace!

We got about an hour there, and it was pretty neat!

The room was filled with butterflys and birds...

They also had lots of critters to look at too! My camera skills aren't that great, so the pics of the critters behind the glass didn't turn out too well!

Nothing like a trip to Branson to get you in the Christmas spirit! All the lights and music really got us ready! We come home to 60 degree weather?? WHAT? I'm not complaining, just a little strangely warm here!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
