A profile of soon-to-be-gone shagginess:
It's something that everyone (except Davis & Daddy) has been dreading for a long time:
another Chaffee haircut.
Davis is happy with his wild, untamed locks.
And, keeping his hair a little on the long side helps us figure-out if it might be turning lighter, darker, or perhaps a little reddish in color.
And, a little extra length of hair might help insulate his noggin if we get another snap of cold weather.
So, Daddy asked that Davis' hair get trimmed a little longer than usual.
(yeah, his eyelashes might be longer than the hair on his head)
oops.
Maybe we'll have better luck when we go back for another one in a few months.
(he has plenty of hats, though)
Davis sat very still the whole time, waiting patiently for the endless barrage of clippers, razors, and scissors to end.
