Those Elusive Chimney Hawks

With the storms that started rolling-in this morning, it's been so much cooler! We took advantage of a break in the rain to get outside. Davis loves to explore for new things!

Chaffee Crossing is a good place to go. Davis used his binoculars to look for the hawks
(they like to perch on top of the chimneys)

Plenty of chimneys, but we didn't see any hawks this time : (
Davis suggested that we should look for hawks further down the road next time.
(he seems to be such a know-it-all now!)
(a cute know-it-all, so it's not too annoying)

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
