Davis spotted the submarine from the bridge on the trolley.
He thought it would be a good idea if we went on a mission to check it out.
It's the feature attraction of the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum
(both of the huge brass propellers are on display)
(the museum seems to think they're safe leaving them outside)
Davis liked the idea that the sub had won some cool trophies
Maybe he would be content with checking-out the neat stuff in the museum
and looking at the sub from the outside.
After all, the sub is afloat (securely moored, though) on the river
-and the tour involves climbing ladders and negotiating small spaces.
All Aboard!
we saw some familiar things from the deck!

Love:
buttons & knobs,
knobs & buttons
of the group of 12, Davis had the easiest time
moving around inside the submarine
-he needed just a little help
climbing the 14' ladder at the stern
-washing his hair in the sub's shower-
some bunks were stacked 4 high!
which button to push first?
yeah, he steered a real submarine during his Spring Break
a future submariner?
