had his Major League debut last night against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim! (he reached first on a walk, scorched a base hit, and scored a run)

Not bad for a first day at work..It was a bat-smashing success!
We attended a few Naturals' games last year, and bought a #8 Mike Moustakas t-shirt jersey on our first visit. Later in the season, Moustakas came out on the field to sign for some fans before warm-ups started. We were lucky to have front-row seats, right next to the dugout. Mike not only signed the shirt, but took some extra time for a great photo with Davis. It turned out to be his last home game for the Naturals. A few other players stopped for photos with Davis, but he remembers the third baseman with the big hands.
