(the Cardinals ended the Naturals' six game winning streak)
After the game, the Naturals' ace relief pitcher walked past us without paying Davis much attention. We understood that after a tough loss, why he wouldn't want to pause for a photo.
We were surprised when he suddenly rushed back out of the dugout:
He came back out just to give Davis a game ball!!!
