After we finished taking pictures, the racing started. Davis is a fast runner, so it wasn't long before we were on the outer perimeter of the property. Not noticeable from the top of the hill, we found a secret path. Outlined on both sides with later-blooming daffodils, the path had long ago been scavenged of it's stepping stones.
The secret of the path's intended destination endures. The grand announcement that comes with the full blooms of the outlining daffodils will begin their annual ritual in a few weeks.
