@ Garvan Woodland Gardens

A must-see in Hot Springs is Garvan Gardens.
It's fun for kids, and breath-taking for adults.
The 4+ miles of paths seemed daunting at first...
but, we had fun every step of the way!
(and saved some of the mileage for our next visit)

 awesome views from every angle!
 All of Davis' favorite colors!
(the wink indicates that this is a cool place!)
 Lots of bridges
his tattoos gave him the strength needed to clear
a trail of a huge boulder
 Koi-riffic !
our no-rush schedule gave him plenty of time to relax...
 ...and count wind-blown petals...
 ...and measure bamboo...
 ...and contemplate complex geometry...
(the upward view from inside Garvan Pavilion)

we dodged a only a few raindrops,
the majority of our tour had ideal weather-
nice, cool breezes with just enough sunshine!
(the exact opposite weather we left behind in FS!)
 boulder-iffic!
Davis can't wait until our next visit!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
