Naturals vs Travelers!
We had a full itinerary planned for our ballpark experience:
*detour around closed streets & crowds (graduation at the arena)
congratulations!
(here's hoping that you arrive on time for your next graduation)
*park at NLR trolley stop
lots of free parking!
*walk a 'full mile' to the ballpark
free exercise!
*pick-up tickets at Will Call
no waiting in line if you call ahead!
*be one of first 1500 through the gate for bobbleheads
we were serenaded by a bluegrass band
while we waited 20mins for the gates to open!
*return to parking lot to load-up on trolley
had to secure 3 Mike Trouts in the trunk, too!
*cross the river, ride thru River Market, get off @ Broadway
Shop the Rock !!!
*walk the Broadway Bridge to the ballpark
we timed it just right to catch the Arkansas Queen
passing directly below us!
*(someone forgot his camera and had to go back to the car)
concerned residents wondering if I was ever
going to find where I was going!
*in our seats with corndog in hand by the 2nd inning
just in time for:
Monkey Cowboys !!!
(The Momma)
Davis gave the monkey wrangler guy a high-five
when he passed-by the second time!
as you can tell by his expression,
the Naturals lost to the Travelers
but, there will always be another game on the schedule,
which gives us more chances for more fun!
bonus:
After a tough loss, (as the rest of the team was loading-up)
the Naturals' 3rd baseman took the time to say hi to DJ
and signed the back of his shirt!
