Guess What...

We got out early for some picture taking!
Actually, it would only be out of the ordinary if a day went by that Davis didn't have his picture taken
Sometimes we do make a special trip (10 mins from the house) for some nice background
And we try to have some good laughs
We bring extra outfits with us too!
It's fun to be outside when the weather is tolerable and the bugs aren't chomping
We usually keep a running tally of all the critters we see or hear
Testing different backgrounds...
Different expressions...
a non-example of a Christmas card
(always try to make stuff fun!)
Never want the boy to be sad...
(he perfects different expressions during the photo shoots, then uses them to his advantage later)
It was a bit of a gamble, though..
-knowing that we would have to take the hat off at some point for more photos
 Think it worked-out ok...
How can Davis' blank stares be so very expressive?
Happy that we got one of his more poignant moments on film,
and captured some good material to be used in future Motivational Posters, too!

He gots to git back workin the land now!
Bye, Y'all!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
