'Twas a Festive Fourth

St. Louis goes all-out for Fourth of July Festivities
The nice warm sunshine was a welcomed bonus.
Really, we never felt as though we were going to melt-in-place
at any time. They were having a 'cool-snap,' and several
locals joked 'sure, this is typical summer weather for us.'
Davis will remember this Fourth as the day
he had one less tooth.
Nice touch.
A very patriotic display that draws your attention away from the
construction zone. They are building a wide pedestrian plaza
over a main thoroughfare that will link the Jefferson Memorial
Expansion Complex with the Gateway Arch.

Thank You St Louie!
For a Fantastic 4th experience!

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
