We got to see Eddie Vedder sing live while we were in Chicago!
During the record-setting, 9 run inning for the Padres, some fans starting chanting "Eddie Vedder! ... Eddie Vedder!"
We wondered out loud, and a woman in front of us (wearing a Pearl Jam shirt) said, "he's singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame later!"

The Vedder fan group bought their tickets specifically because the seats could see into the press box.
We got the seats because it's what we could get for cheap.
Turns out, we had prime seats in the Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder fan section!
Eddie Vedder is a huge Cubs fan,
& Cubs fans are crazy about Vedder!
It's also interesting that Wrigley Field had the fastest wifi of all the ballparks we visited.
