Located just east of Cass, Arkansas
is one of the most dramatic waterfalls
in the entire Natural State!
A true gem of nature!
And, it's only quick hike
from the highway!
A few cautions:
slippery rocks
&
poison ivy
(it's been more than a few days
since our hike,
and everyone is itch-free)
The 70 foot, twin waterfalls
are truly amazing!
There's a neat hollow tree trunk
somewhat hidden below
the pool of the falls
A refreshing mist & sound!
A true gem of nature!
A seat for forest gnomes?
We enjoyed a private viewing!
We spent at least 30 mins at the falls,
and never saw anyone else!
(we did see people coming & going
from the parking area, though)
Davis gave some good hiking advice
to the group that followed us.
All Around Awesomeness!
(selfie by DJ)
We brought along a bag
for trash, but didn't see
anything unnatural
that had been left behind!
It's so nice to see a natural area
that's being respected & protected!
Fun!
(even when surrounded by
a bumper crop of poison ivy!)
High Bank Twin Falls,
we're big fans!
