It was Game 3 of the Texas League
Championship Series
(Midland was ahead 2-0)
Not fair:
Midland brought their own weather with them.
It was the hottest game we had attended all year.
It started hot & humid, and may have even
gotten warmer as the game progressed.
Not even a breeze.

These were unNatural playing conditions.
This was going to be a tough game.
Before the game started,
DJ got to meet & greet some of the Naturals:

Raul Mondesi gave DJ a tough-looking
sharpie signature tattoo.
and, Jorge Bonifacio gave Davis
a Texas League Championship Game ball.
(Midland won the game)
(They celebrated the Championship on the field)
(and in the clubhouse, and in the parking lot)
Win or lose,
there were going to be fireworks
to celebrate an awesome season!
We have been to several Major League
ballparks that featured firework displays.
One thing is for sure...
