I Remember When...

Davis' first Major League Ballpark experience! We even had a fantastic experience getting to the ballpark: Atlanta Subway System: (MARTA, they don't use the obvious acronym for some reason) it's cheap, easy -and the boy loves it! (not all of the ride is underground)...and, panhandlers only ask for 87 cents (large signs warn patrons not to give a single dollar to beggars) Atlanta Underground:  it's a mall area filled with music, shops, restaurants, kiosks, art, and antique cars... 'can't-miss' signs direct subway riders to the complimentary stadium shuttle, which is at the opposite end of the naturally-cooled underground area (Davis even danced a jig to the music -just so he can say that he's 'been there, done that' Complimentary Shuttle:  it's free, fast, & orderly -but that's not the best part. Before driving out of the parking lot, the bus stops and 4 well-dressed gentlemen board the bus. They commence to sing 'Tak...

getting around town

@ Georgia Aquarium!

We made it! It's the largest aquarium in the world!!!  It has enough room for the world's largest fish- the whale shark! DJ was super excited! underwater tunnel! (with a 'moving path') so happy to be with the fishes! jellyfish are a favorite -he knows about many different types! he enjoyed helping others identify different sea creatures too  the reef tank was awesome!  maybe Davis would be the cutest marine biologist ever? more jellyfish! shark!!! everywhere, amazed wonderment! there was a fascinating frog exhibit too: Mr & Mrs Ribbit and their cousin, Calaveras back to the reef! (we went through the Tropical Diver exhibit many times) Lionfish! super-neat tunnels & viewing ports! the aquarium features several petting tanks, Davis even touched a sea critter!
