DJ loves him some key lime pie! A few hours later, Midwest won the game! It was another rainy game...but, at least it was 20 degrees warmer than the last should-have-been-cancelled rain game. Davis played just one inning, and again had only one at-bat. But, for the second straight game, he hit the ball fair! [Cupcake Celebration Party!] It took a great fielding play by the pitcher and an awesome throw to get speedy DJ out at first base. Davis is on quite a streak- he's yet to strike-out this season! That's a difficult feat, even for veteran, second-year players in Pee Wee League. The pitching machine can be wildly inconsistent, but Davis is proving himself to be a solid, contact hitter! We'll try to make-up the missed photos with a make-up game that is scheduled for Saturday morning.

Davis was in the game for only one inning since he missed almost a week's worth of practices and games. As a result, he had just one chance to get a hit. After two quick strikes, Davis hit an RBI triple that scored the go-ahead run!!! After the run scored, Davis was going so fast, he over-ran third base. He managed to dodge the tag, and run all the way back to second base! Safe!!! So, it's officially scored as a triple and a stolen base!  It was the most incredible play of the game! Way to Go #4 ! Great Game Midwest!

A mother's work is tiresome. So, it's great to take a pause from the daily chores, errands, shuttling, bug-emergencies, and doctoring -to thank mothers for their tireless work Because we feel their love each & every day Their warm hearts nourish the good days,  and manage to turn-around the not-so-good days. Thank You, Mom! (end of post) *continue only if you enjoy sea creatures* A great white shark can blast into the air with ferocious speed & overwhelming power. However, the mightiest sea creature cannot compare to a mother's special care! Love you more than a great white  or even a sea snot cucumber!
