DJ loves him some key lime pie!

A few hours later, Midwest won the game! It was another rainy game...but, at least it was 20 degrees warmer than the last should-have-been-cancelled rain game. Davis played just one inning, and again had only one at-bat. But, for the second straight game, he hit the ball fair! [Cupcake Celebration Party!] It took a great fielding play by the pitcher and an awesome throw to get speedy DJ out at first base. Davis is on quite a streak- he's yet to strike-out this season! That's a difficult feat, even for veteran, second-year players in Pee Wee League. The pitching machine can be wildly inconsistent, but Davis is proving himself to be a solid, contact hitter!
We'll try to make-up the missed photos with a make-up game that is scheduled for Saturday morning.

欢乐中国的明天!

How about having Chinese food tomorrow?      Great! December 13th is Chinese Tomorrow! What is Chinese Tomorrow? When families get together for Chinese food and celebrate everything that is 'put-off' until tomorrow.   Here are a few rules: Everyone wears black (the actual day 'tomorrow' is dark & never sees a sunrise) Celebrate things that are put-off until tomorrow (find joy in those normally unpleasant procrastinations) Choose just one person to open a single fortune cookie (everyone else must wait until tomorrow ) Blog about it (post the fortune's lucky numbers as the title) Enjoy the great food! (Chinese food buffets are the best!)  欢乐中国的明天!

Happy New Year!
