It's Josh Hamilton!

(3rd player on the left) Josh was the #1 Overall Draft Pick in 1999. His career has had many ups & downs, but one thing has remained constant: his effort on the playing field. In the history of Major League baseball, only 16 players have hit a home run  in each of their 4 at-bats during a game. Josh is one of those players. He is a 5 time MLB All Star. In 2010, he won the American League Most Valuable Player award. And, he appreciates fans of baseball, too! Thanks, Josh!

Eat Like a Race Car Driver

It started as an innocuous tweet. Just somebody posting about what they like to eat for lunch. It quickly went viral. Is it the best thing ever? Is it the worst thing ever? DJ was intrigued. He agreed to a sample taste if we agreed to donate to Dale Jr's charity:

Go Naturals!

Our first Naturals' game of 2016! It was great to get back to one of our favorite ballparks! Since Arvest Ballpark's inaugural season in 2008, DJ has grown-up with the Naturals! He's seen players & coaches come and go. Some players, however, return with new stories.  Like Orlando Calixte. He was just awarded a World Series ring! Did Orlando have to use the ring as collateral? He had to borrow a glove for tonight's game (he's been a career infielder & needed a larger outfielder's glove for his new position). (He asked Brandy to hold his glove while he signed some baseballs. She noticed it was branded "Bubba Starling") There's more to Arvest Ballpark than just baseball... 60+ home games this year means that more than 60 dogs will find great homes! (Sometimes the dogs get adopted even before they are introduced on the field in the 5th inning) After catching a third out ...

@ Roswell

Many miles outside of town... Not too far from Old Joe Foster's garage... Something weird happened.  Aliens. Years later, they began appearing  throughout the town. It has become a neat feature of this small, desert city. The alien culture has even influenced McArchitecture. Fun stuff. Alien royalty? It can be serious business, too? It is a unique little town. With interesting diners Even Main St. has some alien flair.  Aliens seem to have their own preference for pizza places & sushi & hotels & roast beef. Keep it Classy,  Roswell!

@ Maryvale Baseball Park

It's the Spring Training home of the Milwaukee Brewers! The gates opened before noon, so it was a lighter-side of tailgating (with a few notable exceptions) The game sold-out with about an even split of fans from the visiting & home teams Great seats! Temps in the 80's! -we were always looking for someone we might recognize! like former Natural,  Whit Merrifield! and, Eric Hosmer! He hit a home run during his first at-bat! We sat next to the same Royals fan from Hawaii -for the 2nd straight game! Maryvale is a fun, exciting ballpark! -as long as the Royals are the visiting team! Weird but True Fact: The Brewers moved Miller Park. Or, just the awesome food. The Brewer's home park in Milwaukee (Miller Park) boasts the best food of any professional sports venue. Here, in Arizona, it's the same variety, cooked fresh, & smells fantastic! Go Royals!
